    This page is all about any information I can think of, and all the changes that Nsider chat (www.nintendo.com/nsider/) has, and hopefully will go through.
     I'll start with a list of chat abbrieviations:

    Since winter is approaching quickly, I thought I'd cover the rooms in winter chat.
For You Newbies Out There
 
    This is a section for people who don't know me who drop by, and who want to know about Nsider chat and how to do commands like throwing pies, fighting, PMs, or moving from room to room. Before I tell you all this, I am going to say what chat exactly is... This is what I have come to believe after 5 years of chatting here:

    Chat is a monstrous interactive novel, with dozens of people writing in it at a time, changing fluently, though quite often haltingly, from person to person, and adjusting each character to fit in the world of the rest. Here people pretend to be things that they aren't, and the best idea is to simply go with the flow, or you'll become hated by many. I, personally, come to chat to escape from reality, and it works. Things in chat that go well make people happy, and vice versa... but chat lives go on. You can shift from person to person, creature to creature, and change yourself completely, from good to evil, evil to good, and then return to your same old self without a flaw. I find this makes you take things into perspective, seeing that people may hate one of your chat personas for a single small flaw, and absolutely adore another without question.
    Well, with that said, here's all that you need to know to do EVERYTHING in chat.

        Go to nintendo's Nsider from the link above, and from there sign up as an Nsider (or log in). From Nsider you'll see "Chat" and can get set up with the Ichat plugin. After that, you need to know how to switch between rooms. Trial and error works best to find which rooms are linked to which. To switch rooms, you type /go bungalow or /go porch. From the pool you can only go to certain rooms, and the same goes for all rooms. If you want to know all the rooms, check the list above.
    Talking is obbvious, so I'll skip that part, but PMing is something you neeed to learn. To PM you type /tell username and then the message.
    So, if you wanted to privately tell me "I got Zelda!", you would type /tell sharkrider I got Zelda! [enter] Simple, really.
    To make it look like thought bubbles are emanating out of your name, type /think blah blah blah and it will make it happen! For instance if I said, /think I need some caffiene. would look like this:
    sharkrider . o 0 (I need some caffiene.)
    Now here comes the most important one, the actions. To do an action you type :  /emote  or /me at the beginning of a message. What this does is simply take away the "Username says, 'Blah Blah.'" and puts in your name. So if your name was Jakepike and you typed : before jumps. It would be Jakepike jumps. You could also type :stabs shark in the side , but I would beat you up.
    Heres another important one. If someone is scrolling, which means typing the same thing over and over, and slowing chat down, or maybe doing something else you don't like, you add them to ignore. So, if there was some guy called Gknightdiddy and he was being annoying, all you have to do is type /ignore add gknightdiddy [enter].
You will never see or hear from them again, unless you typed /ignore remove gknightdiddy [enter]. The you could see him again.
    There's also a great thing called a buddy list. This tells you when the people on your buddy list log on, or off. So, if you added me to your B-list by typing /buddy add sharkrider, when I was online you'd know, and when I logged off, too.
