Heel/Face/Tweener: Heel
Wrestlers History: Troy Martin grew up in downtown Pittsburgh. He was a bully as a child, and wasn't too
productive. At the age of 17 he dropped out of high school, and got his GED. His future wasn't looking too
bright as he was working in a factory as an assembly worker, and living in a dingy apartment in Pittsburgh. One
night, he went to go see PCW (Pittsburgh Championship Wrestling) and something hit him....He loved to fight,
so why not get paid for it?!? So after that, he worked hard in the factroy, and saved up enough money to send
himself to Les Thatcher's wrestling school in Chicago, Ill. At Thatcher's school, he exceled, and later that year,
he signed a deal with the GCWF under the moniker VaMpIrE. His GCWF career was short, but it got him off the
ground. After the GCWF closed, the IWA came knocking to VaMpIrE and his good friend The Reaper.
VaMpIrE and Reaper went to the IWA and found success as members of the AoD (Army of Darkness).
VaMpIrE and NightCrawler, his new partner, were 4 time IWA tag champs, and his good friend Reaper was 5
time IWA Internet Champion. Times were good, and then the unexpected happend, the IWA closed. Reaper
was quickly snatched up by the SWO, but no one came looking for VaMpIrE . So Troy waited and waited, but
no work was offered. So finally, he took action. He contacted the EWF about a possible job, but they offer the
type of money he was looking for. He contacted the WCW 2000, and they found room for VaMpIrE, but again,
his stay was short and sweet, only staying for 2 months, and being very unhappy for those 2 months. He got
to thinking, and re-packaged himself, going by his real name and dropping the "dark side" gimmick, that had
made him famous. Now, as Troy Martin, the arrogant heel, he joined up with the W4F, and really enjoyed
himself. As he started to have success, he was contacted by the PWA about a possible jump. After
negotiations, he agreed and joined the PWA. He won the PWA TV Title right off the bat, but was very
unhappy with the way the organization was run, and left once again, to rejoin the W4F. With continued
success in the W4F, and a new alliance with The Sniper, life was good. He missed his old "dark side" gimmick,
and the W4F wanted him as Troy Martin, and not VaMpIrE. So, he joined the OWWF as El Vampiro
Canadiense. He had some fun there, but the fed didn't last very long. So, once again he rejoined the W4F. Once
in the W4F, he had his longest stay, and won the Tag Belts with The Sniper, and eventually the World Title.
He had a new alliance, known as the "Triple Threat" with "Cowboy" Tom Magnum, and Gareth Evans. Life was
good, but he could only do so much. Gareth Evans had left for personal reasons, and "Cowboy" Tom Magnum
was offered a large contract by the CCW. Troy was all alone, his friends gone, so he thought it was time to
move on....The PWA had contacted him about a second run,  since there was new managment, and Troy
agreed. Once again, Troy made his entrance by winning the TV Title. After that, Troy built up a winning streak,
and all was well. He beat Triple B at "Dead Man Walking" to retain the title, and was undefeated so-far. But
with his success and other new comers boosting the PWA's ratings, the W4F began to suffer. Troy heard of
this, and thought it was time to pay back the fed that always had a place for him. So Troy asked for his release,
which was kindly granted by then President Chamelion. So Troy returned to his beloved W4F to find it in
shambles, and losing money quickly. He did his best to help in anyway he could, and the future started to look
brighter for the W4F, with the additions of Project-X , Nightstryker, and Stephen "The Monkey" MacDonald.
But finally, the inevitable happend, with their Wednesday Card getting an average of a .78 rating, and the
expected buy-rate of September Slam looking to be about a 0.19, the W4F's President Bitner went looking for
other offers, and found one with the PWA. So, the W4F closed its doors much to Troy's dismay. He was so
mad, and so motivated to destroy the PWA for taking the W4F's ratings, that he came up with a plan to pay the
PWA back for its part in destroying the W4F, and make the PWA into the W4F. So with several former W4F
employees behind him, he made plans for invasion. In September '99, the W4F invaded the PWA. Troy & Co.
have been fairly succesful so far, and things are looking up. Whatever federation Troy is in, there is one thing
that leaves him, his love for the W4F.
