ARUBA'S POSTAL HISTORY: The first post office on Aruba was established
in 1888 at Oranjestad. It was then considered a sub-office of the Curacao
post office. In 1925, its status was changed to make it a full post office.
Offices were established in St. Nicolaas in 1936, at Princess Beatrix Airpost
in 1969 and in Noord in 1992. The stamps of Curacao were used until 1949.
From 1949 until 1985, the stamps of the Netherlands Antilles were used.
