Pluto's StoryThis is my pluto poem, with a slightly altered storyline. Keep in mind I've been raised with the fact that poetry should rhyme, so parts are a bit wierd. Alone. Forever. Trapped in a void. A tool that was used, quickly deployed. "Dear Pluto, you must go!" the queen had said, and Setsuna had cried, fearing what was ahead. At the time and space junction where she was to be she recieved her training and her strong time key. With a mere blink of an eye, her future was set Sailor Pluto, the ice queen, would never forget. She watched as the plots of Queen Beryl unravelled and back and forth to the moon she travelled Never uttering a word about the fate she knew would befall her queen - to her vow she held true. When Serenity took her last breath, with tears in her eyes, Pluto came beside her in her in her human guise. Her heart ached inside at her Queen's failing reach, but nothing prepared her for her final speech. "Forgive me, my senshi, advisor and friend for choosing a path for you even I wouldn't tend. I wish I could give you the joy you deserved, instead of the path of the time gate you serve. I promise one day you'll be happy again. With my last ounce of strength and my powers end, I'll make you future happy and free, dear scout. Take my crown, and wish on it when you need out." Her eyes closed and her breathing stilled and the crystal rose up from the queen it had killed. It shot into the night, making the dark turn away and guided by it, all the good souls were saved. When Pluto looked down, the queen was gone leaving only dust and a beautiful crown. With trembling hands, and hope in her heart, She picked up the crown, her lips spread apart. Setsuna stopped and her composure crumbled. "How could I wish another into where I have tumbled? The Queen's gift is nice, and I value her thought, but force another here? That I could not." So Pluto stands lonely at her post by the gate, accepting her job and accepting her fate... but once in a while she'll hold the crown in it's glory and hear the laughter of children in another life story. |
