    The only son of a successful engineer and a Dettanbo masteress, Clydde was born on the ancient's domain. At an early age, he developed a taste and affinity for everything that was of mechanical source. Has soon has he was able to talk, he started to ask his father questions about all the mechanical gadgets around the house. His father initiated Clydde to mechanics at a very young age and his mother showed him the art of Dettanbo.

    Even with his goof-off non-stop talking attitude, Clydde did very well in school and was always in the best of his class. Not surprisingly he showed very much potential in science, mechanics and in gymnastics. Since he started school, the young boy learned to read and started to read books after books about Dettan inventions and technology. He was a very active child, studying very hard, helping his father when he brought work home, training Dettanbo with his mother and finally reading plenty of books when he had the time to.

    When he became an adolescent his parents sent to a school of technology where he started his studies in basic mechanics and science. Even if he wanted to, Clydde couldn't remember how many nights he spent working on his school projects or simply putting his knowledge to use by creating simple mechanical gadgets. The science of mechanics fascinated him to a point where it became an obsession. This art of creating things that the average wanderer could not understand made him feel special. Clydde developed at taste for weaponry, trying to improve it with technology. Is favourite weapon became the complex Dettan Crossbow. Beside his schoolwork, reading, tinkering and Dettanbo training, the young Clydde started to seriously train with the Crossbow. He developed a liking for warfare and combat.

    He graduated with flying colours and soon got admitted to college where he studied advance mechanics and sciences. Clydde was even more motivated than before and studied has hard has he could, working extremely hard and often to a point of exhaustion. It was clear for him that a great career has a brilliant engineer was awaiting him. He did very well in school, often on top of his class and always bringing new inventions to class every once in a while.

    When he reached maturity, he graduated from college. He could have started to work has an assistant engineer but he wanted to specialise himself by going to university. Because his father was probably the best engineer in town, Clydde got accepted in the finest University of Technology in the whole ancient's domain. University's work was extremely harsh and the young man was having a rough time but always did his best to succeed. Being already very experienced in Dettanbo, he left this practice a little on the side to leave him more time for his university.

    When he was barely a young adult, his father died in a mining accident that caused the deaths of 6 other Detta. Everyone blamed his father but since he was dead, Clydde and his mother took the entire blame. Visibly morally affected, his grades dropped tremendously. Since his family had not the money necessary to allow him to continue his studies the young Detta was expelled from the university. His mother's dojo financially crashed too and they were left in the streets without anything. Clydde tried to work has an assistant-engineer or some similar work but due to the recent accident his father supposedly caused, no one trusted him enough to hire him. A few days later, his demoralised mother committed suicide. Clydde knew she died from a broken heart.

    Without family, Clydde wandered the streets for a while, enraged against everything and soon his love for warfare pushed him to join the Dettan army. His great Crossbow and Dettanbo skills were put to good use and his superior convinced him that he would probably make an excellent soldier. About a year later, he received an anonymous letter telling him that his father's death wasn't a simple accident. The letter also revealed the name of the person responsible for his death: Goddart.

    The same day, when he tried to speak to Goddart about it when he learned that this one has mysteriously disappeared. The young Detta now believed the letter. Only a few days later he was out of the army and heading for the Spinal Cord, tracking Goddart.

    Since then, Clydde has perfected his mechanical crossbow and desperately hunts down the man named Goddart in the Spinal Cord region, selling his services has an engineer or a soldier to survive. During his travels he has experimented the wonders of what is called "magic" where he have learned the wonders of what is called "enchantment".

    He has learned some interesting things about his nemesis during the past two years by his own means and by theses mysterious anonymous letters he keeps receiving. He learned that Goddart was a business partner with his father and that for some professional reasons, his father had to doublecrossed him to get a certain contract all for himself. Supposedly, Goddart was the contact with a certain crime organisation and for unknown reasons the contract his father has taken was destined to them. Angry, the crime organisation used Goddart to eliminate Clydde's father for vengeance. The young Detta find out that that this dark organisation is called "The nameless Rogues" but its location is still a mystery.

    Ever since, Clydde has stalked the Spinal Cord looking for Goddart, so that he may lead him one day to "the nameless Rogues"… Now, every time Freïn's two suns are down, he watches the stars and thinks about his father, his mother, Goddart, the "nameless Rogues" and about that mysterious contact that gave him all thoses helpful letters.

    Except for his Karma (since he is almost completely unfamiliar with magic), his attributes are pretty well balanced. Since he was very young he trained in Dettanbo and developed a great coordination and physical stamina. The incalculable hours he spent working on his tiny mechanisms helped him improve his dexterity, his patience, will and mental endurance and when he started to train with the Crossbow, he improved his agility as well.

    Clydde is a good fighter but his even a better engineer. He is nearly obsesses with everything that is of mechanical nature, always wanting to improve and optimise all mechanisms. His philosophy is "When magic fail or ran out of mana, science is always there and ready to assist". Clydde believe strongly in the fact that science and logic are the key to everything and that because of his people, the Detta, all the other wanderers are still not in to the stone fire age. Whenever he has nothing more important to do, he reads books about sciences, engineering or warfare or he works on his precious mechanical Crossbow. He treats his Crossbow almost like a person and gives it very much attention. At night, you can sometimes ear him whispering to his Crossbow telling it how superb it's going to be when he'll find a way to make it fully automatic. He calls his Crossbow "Annabelle" and is always polishing and reinforcing it.

    Clydde is extremely social and rarely shy to express himself and his feelings (even anger). Except when in a critical situation, he remains a goof-off and a pervert, always making statements about some girl's butt or fine curves or simply making hilarious jokes. He his always trying to catch woman's attention by some weird means. The funny thing about Clydde is that he generally always looks like a complete idiot but when in time of danger, he can become extremely serious, professional and efficient.

    Even if he like warfare, he doesn't like combat to the death and only use violence if no other options are available. He never takes battle lightly and his always very cautious, especially when confronted against forces he doesn't really know. Clydde always use strategy and caution rather than rushing toward the enemy. If he can he'll place himself on a higher ground and will shoot with his Crossbow but when confronted in close combat, he'll use his Dettanbo techniques to disarm his opponent and control him. The young Detta never killed a wanderer in his life and don't intend to do so. For him life is sacred and should never be thrown away. He worth life more than anything else (even mechanics) and don't hesitate to throw himself into danger to save other wanderers in need.

    Clydde's goal in life is to catch the persons responsible for his father's death and to bring them to justice so that he can clear his father's honor. Maybe after all this he can return to the Ancient's Domain, works has an engineer, get married and have LOTS and LOTS of little Dettan. Hahaha… what a pervert!
