Introdution
When humanity reached the beginning of the 21rst century, war erupted simultaneously in every corner of the globe. World's super powers fought against each other over half a century in an apocalyptic war that killed hundreds of millions of people. After WWIII, often called the great catastrophe, what was left of the earth was only a scortched wastleland drained of it's ressources and still under the fog of war and nuclear radiations.
Since the great catastrophe, the humanity lives in total anarchy. Global super powers fighting each other again not for racial, religious or territorial aspects but for the control of the powerful Martix system that may enable them, one day, to unite and create the ultimate utopian nation.
Word from the Creator
Cybernetic Soldier is a role playing game taking place on a scortched wasteland called earth, around AD 2060, 5 years after the end of the great catastrophe that almost eradicated all life forms from the surface of the planet. The concept of the game is to play has one of the WWIII survivors, struggling to live and prosper in this chaotic world. A long and perilous battle begins after the shadows of nuclear apocalypse, a battle for survival... The campaigns possibilities are huge and has a GM you should feel free to create your own apocalyptic world, scenarios and plots.
To be perfectly honest with you, Cybernetic Soldier is pretty much a test. A game created to test a game engine of my creation. I plan on releasing a Cybernetic Soldier II in a couple of months, after I have played and tested all the rules over and over again. In the new version of C.S., the engine will be rienforced and the game will take place in about 75 years later, in a time of wary space colonisation.
