What are MUD's?

MUD's or Multi-User Dungeons are text-based games that can be accessed by telnet(though there are many specialized clients just for them). Most MUD's are role-playing games based on medevil times. MUD's are usually free of charge but in a few, such as Avalon, you must buy credits(hours) to play. Also, some MUD's are free but by donating money you can get special bonuses for your character. If you have never played a MUD before I strongly suggest you try them. JT

Virtual Places -Download TALK by VPlaces and WebCrawler and your ready to chat in all kinds of rooms with all kinds of people with all kinds of Avatars.

Dragon Isle -This game is still in the makings but it will be a Role-playing game using VRML.
