How to search Battle Net

1. Log on to B-net.
2. You will automaticaly be dumped into a Diablo retail chat room.
3. You have 3 windows on the screen, Message line (at bottom), Chat room (the largest window on the screen) and the player list (on the right).
4. If you are searching for a player's name then type: /whois TheirNameHere in the Message line.
5. If you are searching for a player's B-net account number then type: /whois #TheirNumberHere in the Message line.
6. In the Chat room window, it will state in yellow where the player is located. If that player is not on-line then it will state in red, "User is not logged on."

Tip: Always use the players B-net account number if you have it. The account number will cover the search on all of that players characters. This way you will not have to type in the name of every character that particular poster has.
