Timothy Sword, son of Gavin Sword, is a young man of honor. He's the best of Darion's students. His skill with a sword is twice that of Darion's, and his magic is slowly getting there. He has a vast knowledge of healing herbs which grow in Samara, where he has lived since 5 days after his birth, being taught by Darion. When he was 16 he, for the first time he could remember, met his real father. He met his mother 1 time, and decided then that he didn't want to see her again.

Upon his return he met a woman named Emaleth, whom he helped to learn to read. He fell for her the first time he saw her, and in the end, they ended up togather. But, shortly after he asked her to marry him, she left him. Telling him that she couldn't keep lying to him. This nearly killed Timothy, as he was quite ready to commit suicide.

Suicide was not an option when a month or so later he met up with a woman by the name of Alexia Malea. It didn't take him long to fall in love with the beautiful young healer in training. They had many things in common, and love was one of them.

But they weren't togather long when Samara was attacked and Timothy had to go into war. He didn't return for over a year, being held captive by the Elves, as a prisoner of war. When he escaped he moved quickly back to the east wing in search of Alexia, and he found her. And his daughter, Marilyn. The baby girl was a year old, and he fell in love with her at site, especially when Alexia told him she was his.

Just as Darion, Timothy looks to family as the most important part of anyone's life. And would die to protect his family.
