She's been acting really oddly recently. Long, long, long ago, she was well liked by her companions. Then after a brief stint (2 years or so...) serving as the concubine to a devil swine acting as a god to a race of orc offshoots; she became less well liked, and more obnoxious. Of course, if your companions had waited two years to rescue YOU, you'd probably be annoyed as well, and justifiably so.
But now that Vanessa has come into the possession of the Blackstick, which is a rod of undead rulership, she's almost more trouble to everyone than she's worth. Several times she's actually attacked the rest of the party with some heavy duty combat spells; she's sold other party member's magic items to get some things for herself, and has abandoned the group in the middle of the night during her guard shift because she didn't feel the current venture (rescuing imprisoned peasants from an evil mage) to be worth her time. (This may not be too strange for this group; her sister Amanda agreed and left as well. Some heroes.) Maybe she's possessed, or maybe's she's just gotten herself a seriously bad attitude recently.
Nope she was possessed. Thankfully for her she decided to go on an adeventure to the lost city where she died and a clerical order there brought her back to life and the Evil Diety that she was sacrificed to has no hold in the lost city so she is no back to normal .....except for the fact that all her friends and sister seem to want to kill her and she hasnt got a clue as to why they are mad at her ..... after all she didnt leave them on an island with some fat guy to become his concubine. She didnt allow them to be sacrificed and left to dead for how long before ....... boy with party members like them I think she might go back to sailing.
