Cyan Jump Trick

The following is the little known Cyan Jump trick for Final Fantasy 6 (Final Fantasy 3 in US).

1.Equip Cyan with Dragoonboots, Dragon Horn and Tempest. You can steal a spare Tempest from the boss at the end of the Magitek Facility minecar ride.

2.Simply use cyan to Jump. Upon dropping down he should jump back up...But deal no damage. Instead he will use a Wind Slash once back up in the air. he may do several Wind Slashes in a row.

3.Cyan's image is now "stuck in the air" above the screen until you jump again. In reality he is still in combat, but you cannot target him directly. He cannot use beneficial spells as they try to target him first.
