Lich

When an evil man trades his soul for the promise of immortality, the result is the undead - Necromancers. Liches are the elite class of necromancers, most being powerful spell casters. After all, they have spent the past 500 or 600 years practicing! These foul creatures are not touched by human emotions any longer and kill with no pity. They are resistant to most spells but are vulnerable to Light magic.

Light Elemental

Sparkling high above the earth, these Elements of Light stand watch over Celeste and its inhabitants. They support Light followers and those who would pass them by unharmed, but if attacked by the forces of darkness they show no fear and no mercy. Not being animal, they are immune to all magic of self and light magic. Since they have no weapons - except light itself - that is what they use to attack with exclusively. Becareful that you are not standing too close when one is destroyed!

Medusa

It has been said that there exists a creature - part woman, part snake - that is so hideous, so venomous, so terrifying, that anyone who looks directly at it will be turned to stone. She is the medusa, and scores of them can be found dwelling in forgotten, out of the way places in Erathia. As well as posessing the special ability to turn an enemy to stone, medusas are skilled in the use of the bow. So whenever you see a number of human statues nearby, beware of the medusa!

Minotaur

A result of Warlock incantations, the minotaur is a powerful beast. With the body of a man and the head and strength of a bull, the minotaurs were once confined to a maze, but have been released by evil forces to do their master's bidding. Beware of the strongest minotaurs, for they can kill even the strongest hero with a single word: DIE!
Monks

Monks are followers of the powers of Light. They do not use physical weapons but rely on mind, body, and spirit magic to defend themselves and can be quite formidable if provoked. They have some resistance to light magic but suffer the full affects of all other kinds.

Necromancer

Don't look into the necromancer's glowing eyes too long! These summoners of the undead seek to rule the land and will usually welcome any partners in darkness unless provoked. But they oppose those who follow the path of light and will use all of their dark powers to defeat them. Archibald thinks that by joining the necromancers he can regain control of the entire land - time will tell.

Ooze

Oozing along cave and dungeon floors comes a lethal blob simply known as an ooze. I do not know how they came to be, but I suspect the work of warlocks because these creatures can only be damaged by use of magic. They are relatively slow moving, but can spread out to block a narrow passageway. They can cause water damage and some are capable of producing a toxic cloud.

Saracen

Wielding a mighty cutlass for attack and wearing chain mail for defence, these hired mercenaries can be a stronger opponent than it may appear. While loyal only to those who offer the largest purse, they attack with swift, powerful blows from their cutlasses. Saracens are not known for having any resistance to magic, although I have run across a few that have developed a resistance to mind magic.

Skeleton Warrior

The pawns of the Necromancers are the animated bones of the dead - skeletons. They are bound to follow their masters’ commands, even at their own demise. They are not especially strong, but usually attack viciously in large numbers, with no regard for their victims or themselves, making them a viable opponent.
Swordsman

In Erathia, swordsman can be met as friend or foe. These masters of the blade may be fellow adventurers, serve as guards, or be out to cut you to ribbons, so beware of them! They are not usually aggressive, but if one crosses you know that they can break your weapons with a precise blow. Swordsmen are only slightly resistant to various magics.
Thief

Various levels of thieves lurk about in various regions of the land wishing to lay hold on your gold! But, they also often guard stashes of stolen loot - treasure that you will want to claim as your own! Attacking with daggers, they do not pose much of a threat unless they appear in large numbers, but they can steal your cash!

Titan

The titans of Erathia certainly live up to their name! These giants tower above your party and deliver devestating blows. They are not friendly toward humans, elves, dwarves, or goblins and show their lack of hospitality whenever someone enters their domain. Your only hope is to hit them from a distance or use powerful magic. They can kill you!

Tree

Most of the trees of the land are perfectly pleasant, giving your team shade, food, and protection. But some of the trees, particularly in the Tularean Forest, are quite hostile. Beware of them; they will hurl magical assalts on you. At least you can feel reassured by the fact that, like other trees, they cannot move. If you kill one, you may find gold buried near the roots (or not), but if you need to, you can also quickly run away from them. (note, if seems altogether possible that these enchanted trees bare a particular gruge against druids that they perceive as enemies.)

Troglodyte

This hidious monster is a troglodyte. Little is known about it, but it appears to have no eyes. This picture was found in a cave by the remains of one of its victims. Naturally hostile to anyone or anything, especially beware of the queens!

Troll

They aren't just under bridges anymore! Swamp, river, and mountain varieties of trolls primarily make their abode in the land of Tatalia. They are large and quite fierce fighters delivering damaging blows. But if you can stay out of reach of their swinging bone-clubs you may just survive an encounter with them.

Wight

Wights and wraiths are undead souls who wander the darker places in Erathia. They usually haunt caves, barrows, and deserted houses and can only cause your party physical damage. Though not magic users, they are immune to various magics and since they are already dead, they advance with suicidal bravery.

Wizard

The sorcerers, wizards, and archmages of Erathia serve the path of Light. If you do not oppose them they will do you no harm and even make themselves useful to you. But beware if you cross their path! They are strong magic users and well aquainted with the art of survivial. Many of their number can be found in the Bracada Desert and the city in the clouds.

Wyvern

These flying creatures can be found in Tatalia and other areas throughout the region. They are large, fast, and often found in numbers, so watch out for them! They are hard hitting, formabible foes, though easier to kill than dragons. Be sure to keep your distance from the ancient ones - they can kill you!

Zombie

These are the walking dead, the rotting corpses, those undead zombies who are under the control of their dark master doing his bidding. They can be found in various parts of the land either in haunts or out in the open. Grotesque to behold, they are only a threat in large numbers for they cannot move very fast in their condition! But they will not turn away from a fight - after all, they are already dead, so what do they have to lose?
