Creamy Egg Nog Pie

1      (9") baked pastry shell
1      (6 serving size) package vanilla flavor pudding mix (not instant)
1/4     tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/2   cups canned Borden Egg Nog
2 TBSP  light rum or 1 tsp rum flavoring (optional)
2 Cups (1 pint) whipping cream, whipped (8 oz cool whip will work)
        Additional ground nutmeg

  1. In medium saucepan, combine pudding mix, 1/4 tsp nutmeg and egg nog; mix well.
  2. Over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat
  4. stir in rum if desired.
  5. Cool or chill thoroughly.
  6. Beat until smooth.
  7. Fold in whipped cream.
  8. Spoon into prepared pastry shell.
  9. Garnis with additional nutmeg.
  10. Chill 4 hourse or until set.
  11. Refrigerate leftovers.
