Sora is your token strong female character. Every anime series has at least one, and Digimon is no exception. Being very mature, and much, much more mature than Tai, Sora assumes responsibility for the group's safety and well-being. Although noone actually gave her this job, she took it upon herself as second-nature. Because of this heavy responsibility she is the most serious and sometimes the most suspicious of the group. Sora might be a tomboy at heart and wants to run around recklessly, but her job weighs her down. Biyomon is her Digimon and their relationship is much like a "sister" thing. Sora is very protective over Biyomon, always getting her to attack with safety in mind. Sora is always thinking about others in battle. In "Sora's Crest of Love," Sora wouldn't let Bi fight because she was weak from sleeping potion (Demi-Dart). Yet Biyomon insisted she go and help the gang. With a revelation and much reluctance Sora agreed. Sora's protectiveness is due to her love. This strong love is what got her her Crest, the Crest of Love. It is also what got it to glow. Sora's Crest was actually the last one to be found and the last to glow. Because Demidevimon said that the Crest would never work Sora got worried and ran away from the group. She started doubting herself and said that she never felt love before. It was with the realization that her very traditional mother really cared and loved her that Sora's Crest started to glow. Sora is the girl who'll always back you up. She's a great caring and supportive friend who you'll always want to hang with.

But Sora doesn't mind at all. She's a good-natured, gentle, and caring person. She has a decent relationship with every member of the gang and almost never fights. Sora is the optimist and always tries to cheer her fellows when they're down. Sora acts like an older sister to everyone, keeping an eye out for them and supporting them.

Strong and protective are also two traits that would relate to the older sister bit. Sora always shows a strong face, no matter what. Even in a tough battle she won't give up. As for her emotions, Sora usually keeps them tucked deep down inside. She tries not to bother the others with her true feelings and puts on a happy face. Yet once in awhile Sora cannot contain herself and she looses her composure.

Sora continues her bigger Sister role when the kids return to the Digi-World. In "Playing Games," Sora tries to get the group to come together again when they all start arguing in that episode. She fails, but the group does come together again when Puppetmon starts playing with them. Sora also continues to demonstrate that she has Tai's ear when she wants it. She convinces Tai to be more careful and plan farther ahead when the kids attack Puppetmon's mansion in "Etemon's Comeback Tour" and "Ogremon's Honor." Sora also has to look after Kari when the group gets separated in "My Sister's Keeper." Sora also gets sent away with TK in "Joe's Battle" when Tai realizes that all the Digi-Destined are needed to defeat Piedmon. Sora promises to be as quick as possible in her search for Matt, Mimi, and Joe.

Yokomon Biyomon Birdramon Garudamon

Biyomon is Sora's Digimon. She's a calming influence who tries to get Sora to lighten up and not take everything so seriously. She is very high spirited and brave.
