Hi there Trendsetters! Sit back, light up a cigar,(if your old enough and silly enough to smoke), and sip on your favorite drop as we chat about the tournament scene here in Australia.
I hope to have posted here the latest results and "goings on" of some of the wargaming meets that take place in this fine nation. Contributions are more than welcome!

CANCON, and the "ELAN!" Big Bash!
PHALANGITE FURY 2000! Our best tournament yet?
I think so. The tournament was played over the weekend of 11/12 March 2000 at The Maxwell Club, at Holsworthy Barracks. We had counted on having 24 players, but two didn't make it due to car problems. The Armies were based on lists from the DBM books and from the period 400BC to 500AD. The rules used were DBM2.1
Mick's Metal Models were, (as usual) our main sponsor, and did a brisk trade between games. Also in on the action for the first time at one of our Club events was the guys from "RAVEN'S NEST", who sponsored our players choice award, which went to for the second time in a row to Bob Ritchie.
A trophy and a $40.00 Gift voucher is all yours Bob! Not bad considering Bob finished last!!!
