These work for both versions of Pokémon

They do work! I have tried them all!

Game: Pokemon for Gameboy

01FF16D0 Your Pokemon will never faint

Your health bar may do some weird things, such as saying you have 315 out of 255 health, but just go to a Pokemon Center to fix it. Your Pokemon will never faint with this code! You can use a Level 8 Bulbasaur against a Level 84 Mewtwo and you can beat him in theory. He can still run out of PP.

28=Level 40

(If you use too high a level before you get the right badge you may have problems controlling your high level Pokemon)

01xx1ED1 Pick your starting Pokemon with this code
Change the xx's to a number from the list.

Pick your starting Pokemon from the 3 balls at the start of the game. Pick Pokemon from list. All balls will have the same one. It will ask you if you want the type of Pokemon that is normally there but you will get what you picked. After you get the Pokemon make sure you save the game and remove the code. Note: Some Pokemon will not be playable!

01xxD8CF Pick the Pokemon you want to fight and capture anytime.
Change the xx's to a number from the list.

This code will cause you to always fight the same Pokemon. Thus you will be able to capture it. Sometimes the picture of the Pokemon will be messed up, but you can still get it without problems later on. Use my store codes to get some Master Balls from any store (Master Balls cost 0 and always catch even if you don't weaken the Pokemon).

These codes will allow you to fight several different Pokemon trainers
NOTE: These have not worked completely for me yet! They could reset your game and mess it up! If this happens, just turn off the game, take Pokemon out of your Gameshark, then wait for a few seconds and put it back in. I have not lost my saved game from any of these codes, so if you do somehow, then don't yell at me, it's your own fault!
