Icespawn's Magic Expansion

Well, here is an idea for an Overpower expansion that a friend gave me...Magic meets Overpower. At first they will be in print...but in the future, I hope to put pics to some of the cards!

This set would include Magic characters and incorporate them into Overpower. Spells and such may be converted to Artifacts, Universe, Specials, maybe even a new type will arise in this set...it will not have every character in Magic, of course, but it will eventually be quite large! :)

The "colorless" damage which is mentioned on some cards does not count towards spectrum KO. It is just ordinary damage with no specific power type. And no, it isn't an any-power.

Characters/ Specials

The Goblins - 2 6 5 4

Keeper Of Kookus - Play this card in front of The Goblins. The Goblins may not be attacked until this Special is attacked. The Goblins may not defend this card.

Goblin Chirurgeon - Remove one hit from Goblins or teammates permanent record.

Goblin Swine-Rider - Acts as a 2 strength, may make 2 additional attacks.

Goblin Recruiter - May search through the draw pile for any Goblins card, may be duplicate.

Goblin Vandal - Negate the effects of any one artifact.

Goblin Grenade - Acts as a level 8 multi-power. (o.p.d.)

Goblin Hero - Acts as a level 4 fighting. May make 1 additional attack.

Goblin War Drums - Play with any power card usable by Goblins, card must be blocked twice.

Goblin King - 3645 (May place and play any The Goblins specials.)

Goblin Wizard - 4 5 3 7 (May place and play any The Goblins specials.)

General Jarkeld - 2 5 3 7 (General Jarkeld may change the target of an attack once per battle)

Pacifism - Target character may not attack or be attacked for remainder of battle.

Justice - Whenever an attack is made against General Jarkeld, an equal amount of "colorless" damage is dealt to the attacker, until General Jarkeld is KO'd. (o.p.d.)

Uncle Istvan - 1 4 2 7 (Uncle Istvan may not be Spectrum KO'd with Special cards)

Coercion - Look at opponents hand, choose one card. Opponent must then discard that card.

Infernal Contract - Discard a multi-power, then draw 4 cards. (o.p.d.)

Inquisition - Deals target character an amount of "colorless" damage equal to the # of cards opponent has in hand or placed, usable by target character.

Fatal Blow - Use on target character, when that characters hit points are below 5, it is KO'd. (o.p.d.)

Lord Of The Pit - 3 7 7 6

Pestilence - When this card enters play, it decreases every characters hit points by 1. It then decreases every characters hit points by 1 every battle. This is a permanent. (o.p.d.)

Darkness - Avoid 1 attack.

Breeding Pit - Each battle, a Thrull is placed in front of the Lord Of The Pit. Lord Of The Pit may not be attacked until this Special is attacked. Lord Of The Pit may not defend this card. (o.p.d.)

Tendrils Of Despair - Opponent discards 2 cards of his or her choice.

Soul Burn - Acts as a level 4 multipower attack, may make 1 additional Fighting and/or 1 additional Energy attack.

Binding Agony - When target opponent get's hit, it deals an equal amount of colorless damage to another of opponents characters. Opponent's choice. (o.p.d.)

Crash Of Rhinos - 2 6 8 2

Cloud Of Dust - Avoid 1 attack.

Trample - Acts as a level 10 strength attack. (o.p.d.)

Firestorm Hellkite - 6 5 6 3

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

Scar The Sky - Acts as a level 8 mutilpower attack. (o.p.d.)

Crimson Hellkite - 7 5 7 2

Ball Of Hellfire - Acts as a level 11 Energy attack, may not attack for remainder of battle. (o.p.d.)

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

Shivan Dragon - 7 4 6 3

Greater Power - Stats become 8 7 6 2 for remainder of game. (o.p.d.)

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

The Elves - 2 6 4 6

Savaen Elves - Negates the effect of any 1 card.

Elvish Hunter - Acts as a 4 fighting, may make 1 additional attack.

Elvish Bard - Play with any power card, attack must be blocked twice.

Saproling - Play this card in front of The Elves. The Elves may not be attacked until this Special is attacked. The Elves may not defend this card.

Seeker Of Skybreak - Target character may not attack or be attacked for remainder of battle.

Fog - Avoid 1 attack.

Wanderlust - Wanderlust decreases target characters hit points by 1 this battle, and every battle thereafter. Character may only have 1 wanderlust on him or her at a time.

Serra Angel - 3 7 5 5

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

Empyrial Armor - All attacks made against Serra Angel are made at -2 until end of battle.

Angelic Renewal - Exchange this card for any KO'd character, and put that character into play. (o.p.d.)

Storm Spirit - 7 5 4 4

Burst of Lightning - Acts as a 9 Energy or Strength. (o.p.d.)

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

Vaevictis Asmadi - 7 6 6 2

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

Elder Dragon Legend - Stats become 8 6 8 1 for remainder of game.

Asmira, Holy Avenger - 3 6 3 7

Flight - Avoid 1 attack.

Holy Avenger - Acts a level 5 multipower attack, +1 for every KO'd character.

Giant Trap Door Spider - 2 4 6 2

Trap Door - Remove Giant Trap Door Spider and Target character from the game. (o.p.d.)

Spider's Web - Target character may not attack for remainder of battle. (o.p.d.)

Marjhan - 2 5 8 3

Really Big Fish - Acts as a level 11 Strength attack, may not attack for remainder of battle. (o.p.d.)

Sharp Teeth - Acts as a level 5 fighting attack, may make 1 additonal attack.

Clone - * * * * (Clone's ratings are equal to that of a teammate, may play that teammates specials)

Any Hero Specials

Delirium - Attack made against 1 character, is now made on attacker, not defender.

Fire Covenant - Any hero may "pay" any amount of hit points. The hero loses those hit points, and target character also loses the same amount. (o.p.d.)

Armageddon - All Locations are destroyed (both battlesites and homebases).

Sealed Fate - Discard 5 cards from anywhere (placed, in hand, or off the top of deck), to look at top 10 cards from opponents deck, remove 1 of those cards from game and put the rest on top of the deck in any order. (o.p.d.)

Artifacts

Phyrexian Splicer - Discard 4 cards off the top of your library to remove an inherent ability from target character and another character of your choice gains that ability. Can only be used once per turn.

Chaos Orb - Discard 5 cards off the top of your library. Flip Chaos Orb onto the playing area from a height of at least one foot. Chaos Orb must turn completely over at least once or it is discarded with no effect. When Chaos Orb lands, any cards in play that it touches are destroyed, as is Chaos Orb. (o.p.d.)

Echo Chamber - Discard 3 cards off the top of your library to give target character stats and ability of any other character. May only be used once per battle.

Rocket Launcher - Discard 1 card from anywhere (placed, in hand, or off the top of deck) to deal 1 "colorless" damage to target character. May be used multiple times, but against one character in one attack. Discard after attack.

Locations (Battlesites/Homebases)

Sorrow's Path - Sorrow's Path team may change the target of an attack once per battle.

Oasis - Oasis team may remove one power card hit from one character each battle.

Wasteland - Opponents team is -1 to venture total each battle.

Wizards' School - Wizards' School team characters get +1 to each stat under 4.

Ability (Cards that grant one of 3 abilities or do 1 of 3 things)

These cards are permanents, in that, they are not discarded at end of battle. All are considered One Per Decks. All 3 choices can be made in a battle, but each can only be done once per battle.

Nature's Blessing - Choose and discard a card, placed or in hand. Target character gains 1 of these abilities until end of battle. Regeneration; may remove any hit on permanent record once in this battle at any time, Evasion; may avoid any 1 attack once this battle, or Force Spike; may negate any power card attack once this battle. (o.p.d.)

Ebony Charm - Choose and discard a card, placed or in hand. Target character gains 1 of these abilities until end of battle. Touch Of Death; target character loses 3 hit points, and another character gains those hit points (Can only take and give 3 points to a character once), Unforgiven; remove 3 cards in anyone's dead pile from the game, or Black Magic; attack of 4 or less is unblockable (may only be used once against any character).

Hope Charm - Choose and discard a card, placed or in hand. Target character gains 1 of these abilities until end of battle. Life Giving; target character gains 2 hit points, Negation - negate the effects of any 1 special card, or Patience; target character may not attack or be attacked for remainder of battle.
