SILVER
SURFER = Good
All three of the characters on this page were
servants of Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. All three were imbued with
the Power Cosmic, allowing them to traverse the spaceways unharmed, and
also granting them incredible strength, stamina, and the ability to fire
energy blasts. The Silver Surfer originally volunteered as Herald of Galactus
in order to save his own home planet from being destroyed. He guided Galactus
to worlds he could consume to live, though he eventually rebelled when
Galactus came to absorb the energies of earth. Surfer won his freedom,
though he was confined to Earth for many years. A pure soul, the
Surfer often feels alone in the universe, but his power and goodness have
earned him much respect amongst his peers.
ERIC CLAYTON - 7/26/98 - I see you like the "David Brice" style of Keeper of Elysium, i.e., getting in peoples faces when they fuck up. Good for you, man. That, and the fact that you think clan enmities and the like are gibberish, place you pretty high in my book. Keep up the good work, I hope you're with us for a while. 9/8/98 - You were Prince for a bit, but you were out of town too long during a hectic time. I fully support you as either Keeper or Seneschal or whathaveyou, because I know you can do good shit, man. That and you share that whole "fuck the clan system" mentality. Loving it. 9/24/98 - Agreed, Sir: it is war.
FATHER NICOLAS LANDON- <<OUT OF TOWN>> Clanless only because human society doesn't feel the need to put people in little groups according to their abilities and be prejudiced against them as a result. Father Landon is one of the only people I know in the whole town who seems to be purely good in his heart. He seeks out evil to destroy its corrupting influence and to protect those who serve good. Whuppage. You just use that God-Power judiciously, y'hear?
ARTHUR DRAKE - 8/3/98 - See the Arthur Drake, jr // Mark King comparison page.
THOMAS MARIX - 9/8/98 - Okay, Thomas, you're on my page now. Happy? You brough me some nice toys, and I know that you've got the power to back up any and all threats you may make against the Sabbat, but you do need to relax a bit from time to time. No more getting crazy with the cheeze whiz when people snitch you out for sneaking into Primogen meetings. Seriously, man, just chill out, relax, and whip out the balls only when people ask to see them whether they know it or now. Disco. 9/24/98 - Pretty gross face last week. Sorry to bother you.
Firelord, like the Silver Surfer, sacrificed his own free will and his original form in order to save his world from Galactus. Much less discerning than the Surfer, Firelord served Galactus for a long time, and when he eventually sought his freedom, it was for a much less noble cause than saving Earth. Since that time, Firestorm has returned to the service of Galactus at least once, and has fought on the wrong side of the fence in other battles. Wielding a powerful flame-firing staff, it's best to find out at the beginning of battle which side this fellow is going to be on.
JACOB - You,
sir, have your fingers in too many pies. I think that the whole "passing"
trick is nice, and all, but you need to interact with us a little more
often, and stop holding the "I know so much more than you do" thing over
everybody's head, or you're never going to be very well liked, or much
more importantly, very well trusted.
PRETTY-MUCH ALL OF THE GIOVANNI - <DOCTOR
DOOM ALERT> Waiting to see you do something
for this city apart from preen and posture, guys and gals...6/28/98...and
this DOES include you, for right now, Mr.Vito Giovanni. You didn't want
to get involved, you said, then you'd get involved, then come get me, and
then claim that you didn't want to get involved. Make up your mind. And
the same goes for that female shadow you have. 9/8/98
- With the exception of Gustavo. See
below. 9/24/98 - And
that one has pretty blue hair. Which is cool.
TERRAX
= Bad
Terrax, known when he was mortal as Tyros the
Tamer, was a powerful being even before he turned to serve Galactus. A
horrible dictator on his homeworld, Tyros possessed the ability to manipulate
any earthen substance, such as dirt, rocks, etc. Once converted into
his Power Cosmic form, he retained this ability, in addition to his new
powers. His axe was also manipulated, and is now preternaturally
strong, can fire energy blasts, and permits him to fly. Though thought
dead several times, as both Tyros and Terrax, this guy keeps coming back
to cause more problems.
