The Story:   The honorable King Roland, key figure of Heroes of Might and Magic 2, is missing!  Not only that, but the queen is away in a distant land and an evil demonic cult is attacking the land of Enroth.  Can a party of 4 characters actually save the land and restore the Mandate of Heaven?  It is up to you.

Review:  7/10.  A pretty nifty CRPG, but it has its flaws.  The soundtrack is great and the storyline is also well done.  The graphics pass, but additional work could have been made to spice them up a bit.  The gameplay is good and its fun just going around trying out new spells on the unsuspecting monsters.  The AI of the game is fairly bad though.  The intelligence rating of monsters often ranges from idiotic to incredibly stupid.  Despite all of its problems, it can still fun to play.  Bottom Line -  if you are a CRPG fan, this game will have you addicted for days to come.  The ending storyline is well done and it leads directly into the next game of the series (Heroes of Might and Magic III), leaving you waiting for more.
