Introduction
The Akiyoshi Cave is the largest limestone cave in Japan. It was named "Akiyoshi-doo" by the Showa Emperor when he visited it in 1926 as Crown Prince. The Akiyoshi Cave is huge, measures 420,000 cubic meters and took 300,000 years to form. Inside the cave, you can see many different colors and shapes of stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones and limestone pools. It is also home for 15,000 bats of 6 species. So, let's begin our adventure!
