The Agents of, the newly formed OPI division, gather in a briefing room that could only be called spartan, looking forward to the last portion of their in-processing to the Dept. of Justice. A well dressed man enters, caring a stack of files that he sets on the table . The Agents quietly down and sit, awaiting the next set of introductions and instructions.

"Good morning. I'm David Alexander, Director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations." ::sits on the edge of the table:: "You've all been issued you badges, IDs, and sidearms?" ::looks over the agents::

The Agents nod.

"First, I'd like to welcome you to the OhPeeEye.We'd have liked to have transferred you directly from the X-Files Division... ...but the bean-counters downtown had to have their say before we could get approval."::pause:::

"Second, a little bit about myself."

A crash and a startled cry comes from down the hall at the receptionist's desk, and is soon followed by a panicked cry for help. The Agents jump from their seats and run down the hall. The Receptionist is kneeling next to a man on the floor amidst most of the desktop. Looking up, the receptionist stammers, "He... he just walked up..."::swallowing hard::

"Then he fell over..."

Agents Tyler and Ryan quickly administer CPR, to no avail. The gun shot wound is fatal. Noticing the man's gun in the heap on the floor, Agent Gates looks at pistol and reveals it is a French-made 9mm..PA15, then bags it as evidence. Agent Bannion calls the coroner and then rushes into the offices to get the cameras. Through all the excitement, Agent Robertson and Agent Fischer take the Receptionist aside. She is obviously shaken. While reassuring her, they quietly question the young woman.

"Could you try to tell me what happened again? Slowly?" Manda asks, as Alastsia pulls out her pad

The receptionist nods, swallowing hard "He came in...sort of like he was drunk. Or high. Or something. And he said "Luis... Mount Vernon Square... Noon. Real slow. With a real heavy accent."

Seeming the most logical place to start, the agents change and wire up. The group heads to Mount Vernon Square. Opening the first OPI case......

Alsatia Robertson's Notebook

John Doe: Caucasian male, clean cut and conservative dress. Expensive and well tailored suit-non descript features. No id and caring French-made 9mm..PA15. Talked with heavy accent. Died: gun shot to the chest. <see attached photo>

"Luis... Mount Vernon Square... Noon"

Mount Vernon Square: Large and wooded with large walking/running trail circling it's parameter. Well utilized during the noon hour. Agents Fischer and Ryan in walking clothes circle the track. Agent Bannion and Gates split up, covering two of the outreaching benches. Agent Tyler and myself play tourist, snapping pictures and offering surveillance from many sites throughout the park.

Possible Luis subjects:

Subject one: Female, exiting from a cab. Seen scanning the area and seemingly nervous.

Subject two:Male, Elderly, Heavy French accent-(Agent Tyler, Agent Gates and Myself following to the subway)

Subject three:Male, Professor Lewis, Professor of Political Science at George Washington-(Agent Bannion- with Agent Ryan and Fischer as back up.)
