NATURE:Mr. Gates is trusting. However, if sufficient evidence is provided that a person he trusts is not trust-worthy, he tends to lose that trust.Mr. Gates has also been described by his peers as a friendly man. However, it has also been noted by his peers that when he is on assignment, his friendly nature quickly turns to that of a completely professional man.
TRUE NATURE: If a person provokes Mr. Gates to the extreme , whether inadvertently of deliberately, there is a chance Mr. Gates may become extremely angry, and on a very few occasions, lash out. However, for the majority of the time, Mr. Gates maintains a level temper.

CLOTHING: On duty, wears a suit with black Khakis and a white shirt, with a sport jacket. The tie is usually nothing special, similar to MIA Agent Mulder's. This wardrobe is usually accompanied by a black trench coat.
PHYSICAL FEATURES: Crescent-shaped birthmark on left leg. Walks normally, and talks with a deep voice. Smiles frequently, but when on assignment maintains a serious mood. Rate of smiles is reduced greatly when on duty.

BELIEFS: Roman Catholic. Political beliefs are with the Democratic party. As for Paranormal and Supernatural, I believe strongly that we are not alone.
TRADITIONS: Can be counted on to play most law enforcement computer games. Can also be found at a D.C. track meet.
CURRENT LIFESTYLE: Mr. Gates lives in Room. 7A on the 7th floor of an apartment complex near the J. Edgar Hoover building. Car is a blue Ford Taurus LX, production year 1996. Currently single and not dating. Has several friends, all of which live in the same apartment complex. He has a cat, named UFO. As for extracurricular activities.
HOME: Lives clean. Feels that a mess leaves life unorganized. Any unannounced visitor would probably only be annoyed by meowing cat.
Profile:
PROFILE: Was born to Samantha Gates and Theodore Gates, the latter of the FBI. Was raised in suburban New Jersey, until age 9. Mrs. Gates had died of Ovarian Cancer on October 9th, 1969. Mr. Gates was killed in the line of duty on January 13th, 1971. Was placed with his Grandmother in Flagstaff, New Mexico exactly two years after the day Mr. Gates died. This was after 2 attempts at Foster placement. (The grandmother was under medical care at the hospital at the time of the incident. She did not volunteer earlier because of medical reasons.)
Went to Oxford University. Was given the nickname "The Paranormal Gates." Received an advanced degree in Psychology, a B.S. in medicine, and a M.S. in investigation and investigative techniques. He entered Oxford at the age of 18, and graduated at age 21.
Benjamin Gates main influence was his father. Like most fathers', he wanted his son to continue his work. After the incident, Benjamin wanted nothing to do with the bureau. However, towards the age of 17, he began to see the bureau as a place to distinguish himself. He took Psychology, medicine, and investigation, and was soon recruited.
