Gwen Tamlinson

Player Name:Tammy
Character Name: Gwen Tamlinson
E-mail Address:peregrine@enter.net

Gender: Female
Age: Twenties
Job: Civil Service

Hobbies: Riding her motorcycle, Wine collecting

Philosophy: The phrase "joie de vie" fits Gwen exactly. Although serious about her work, she lives life to the fullest and doesn't like to let opportunities pass her by. When not dealing with the somber aspects of the job, her eyes are always dancing.

Past history: Gwen started as a psychologist for a walk-in street clinic in Chicago. She worked with teens involved in gangs. Her papers on gang sociology came to the attention of the bureau who hired her as a consultant for the Behavioral Sciences unit. She quickly became one of their top consultants and didn't have much time for the clinic, so she agreed to work fulltime for the bureau as a civillan employee.

Her childhood was a relatively normal one. Her mother was deaf (that's how Gwen learned sign language) and worked out of the house as a writer. Her father was a doctor and the family was upper-middle class.

lifestyle: Currently, Gwen is still with Behavioral Sciences (transfer to OPI under review). She lives in a brownstone in Chicago with her cocker spaniel, Buddy. Her job hasn't left her time for dating, so she remains single (much to her parents disappointment). She enjoys going out to restaurants in the city and finding new, out of the way places. Sundays are spent with her parents and her older brother's family. She keeps in shape at the local gym.

application: In her work with Behavioral Sciences, Gwen has noticed a pattern in some unsolved cases. The cases usually get passed on to OPI and she wants a chance to follow through. Gwen's open to the idea of the paranormal, but needs to see it in action before committing to fully believing.

As far as OPI is concerned, they'd be interested in Gwen because of her background in psychology. She has some ability to hypnotise people and they would find that useful in abduction cases. She has shown leadership ability in her clinic and has always been dedicated and loyal to her current assignment.
