Misc. Spells of the Pyromancer

Pyronmancers are most famous for their Blazes, a miscellaneous spell. There are also many other neat tricks to be found for spells in this category. Below is a list of spells and the level of magic.spells.misc at which you can learn these spells from Arcadion (NPC teacher of the Pyromancer guild). Due to the way that I have suggested advancing, you will not have any decent misc spells until you start advancing magic.spells . . . But that is OK. Just be patient and get whatever you need from older guild members. Below I have also included lengthy descriptions of each misc spell! :-)

Spell Name: Light
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 30
Description: This spell, when cast upon a target, will cause it to exude light. This will help illuminate dark areas. This spell must be cast on a target of some sort. The duration increase as your bonus in m.s.m does.


Spell Name: Darkness
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 50
Description: This spell will create a globe of darkness around the target.
Spell Name: Detect Magic
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: ??
Description: This spell detects a magical item and the degree to which the item is magical
Usage: cast detect magic <item>
Spell Name: Summon Efreeti
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 90
Description: This spell will summon an Efreeti to attack your enemy during combat as well as help protect you from harm. Type 'dismiss efreeti' to send it back to its place of origin.
Spell Name: Blaze
Skill Used: Magic.Items Spell
Cost: 400 Spell
Usage: cast blaze <target>
Description: This spell allows you to enchant any object of your choosing. This will increase the weapons effectiveness during combat. The enchant value is equal to the bonus in m.i. divided by 50. Weapons which have less than 3 attacks per combat round will have a fire attack added to them. Only those who have mastered the spell, can add an attack to weapons that already have 3 attacks per combat round. Two handed weapons allow for an additional attack.
Note 1: Blaze enchants can NOT be dispelled.
Note 2: You will be forever hounded for Blazes. Charge money for your time and trouble! :-)
Spell Name: Smoke Screen
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 600
Description: This spell will turn you invisible. The following actions will turn you back to being visible: All communications except for guild and tells, emote, soul commands, attacking, and casting any non-defensive spell. You can look at other people, and they will see you looking, but it will not turn you visible. If you move, people will not see, your movement, just as if you were invisible. As of now, the spell will last until you cause yourself to become visible.
Note: You can cast this spell on items (i.e. - Elven Travel Bags) to prevent theft! :-)
Spell Name: Summon Lesser Fire Elemental
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 400
Description: This spell will summon an elemental to attack your enemy. Type 'dismiss elemental' to get rid of Elemental.
Spell Name: Fiery Transport
Usage: cast fiery teleport <pyromancert>
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 500
Description: Teleports you to another pryomancer. The pyromancer can't be invisible or an immortal.
Note 1: You will not be able to teleport to non-pyromancers.
Note 2: After you have teleported, you will be unable to cast spells for a few moments.
Spell Name: Summon Fire Elemental
Skill Used: Magic.Spells.Misc
Gp Cost: 700
Usage: cast summon fire elemental <target>
Description: This spell will summon an elemental to attack your enemy. Type 'dismiss elemental' to get rid of Elemental. The elemental will be random: Effretti, Fire Elemental, Red Dragon, and Phoenix are possible! The summons will follow and protect you until dismissed.
Note: You will need a component to cast this spell.
Component: A small red ruby, which can be obtained in Lirath for 2 platinum coins.
