Bomberman Hero has many different items littered throughout it's levels.
There are 21 items in all. Now lets get on to the item descriptions.
The Bombs
The Bomb Up item will increase the number of bombs Bomberman can drop by 1.
Points Worth: 50
The Salt Bomb is the only thing that can kill slugs. If you pick up a Bomb
Up item it will get rid of your Salt Bombs.
Points Worth: 50
With the Freeze Bombs you can freeze enemies into solid blocks of ice that
you can stand on. If you pick up a Bomb Up item it will get rid of your
Freeze Bombs.
Points Worth: 50
The Remote Bombs are exactly like the ones in Bomberman 64. Just press the Z
button to detonate them.
Points Worth: 50
The Fire Up item will increase the blast range of Bomberman's bombs by 1.

Life Items
The Heart will recover one hit from your life meter.
Points Worth: 50
The Full Heart will recover all the hits from your life meter.
Points Worth: 50
The 1-Up will give you an extra life.
Points Worth: 50
The Body Armor will protect youu from your own bombs. The explosions won't
hurt you any more.
Points Worth: 50
The Gems
Collect 200 Blue Crystals to gain an extra bar on your life bar.
Points Worth: 50
The Red Crystal counts as five Blue Crystals.
Points Worth: 250
The Gold Diamond is for extra points.
Points Worth: 500
The Rainbow Diamond is for extra points.
Points Worth: 1000
The Keys
The Card Key is used for opening certain doors.
Points Worth: 50
To open doors that require Key Crystals you will have to collect four of
them.
Points Worth: 50 (each)
The Wall-Through item lets you walk through certain walls.
Points Worth: 50
The Data Disk is used to open certain doors.
Points Worth: 50
Miscellaneous
The Power Glove lets you throw bombs a lot (Imean a lot) farther than normal.
Points Worth: 50
The Bubble Panel will surround Bomberman in a bubble that will rise to the
ceiling.
Points Worth: 0
The Communicator lets Bomberman talk with Pibot. Pibot will give
Bomberman tips on how to solve puzzles and other things.

Collect all 24 Other-Dimension-Bombs to gain access to a special planet.
