Littered throughout Bomberman 64 are custom parts, which can be used in Battle Mode. The custom parts don't do anything special except make Bomberman look cool.

You can find custom parts in levels 1 and 3 of each world, with an average of two per level. There are also some parts you start with (the Knight Suit), and some that you can get by completing a certain objective (beat the game with 120 gold cards).

Right now I only have a list of the Custom Parts and the locations of the head pieces.
