El Hazard

There are many different series of El Hazard. There are OAVs and a TV series. The OAV series starts with The Magnificent World (Shinpi no Sekai) which I will be talking about. The TV series is called the Wanderers. The Magnificent World starts off with Makoto Mizuhara, Fujisawa-sensei, Jinnai and Nanami at their school, Shinonome High School. Right now there is an excavation that occured at their school. There has been some ancient ruins found beneath the school. At the moment, Jinnai, Makoto's rival, is planning to get rid of Makoto because he hates him for getting in his way. Jinnai's sister, Nanami, is Makoto's childhood friend and it shows that she likes him. That night when Jinnai is chasing after Makoto, time suddenly stops. Makoto goes to the ruins to find this girl named Ifurita who sends him and the others left in the school to the world of El Hazard. They all end up in different places of this world. Makoto and Fujisawa-sensei find each other and are attacked by the Bugroms. Somehow, in this world, they were given powers. Fujisawa-sensei was given superior strength but only for a catch. It only works if the alcohol is out of his system. Well they make it to the castle of Floristica where they find out that the princess, Rune Venus's sister, Fatora, is missing somewhere. Rune Venus asks Makoto to disguise himself as Fatora (because somehow he looks like her) to help her and the kingdom in this situation. El Hazard is a very funny and great anime. It can remind you of Tenchi sometimes. So try to go and watch this anime.
