Vision of Escaflowne

The Vision of Escaflowne is a great anime, one of my personal favorites. Escaflowne are full of love, ESP and mechs, which they call Guymelefs. Escaflowne is a special Guymelef that only those from Fanelia's royal bloodline can access. Escaflowne starts off with Hitomi Kanzaki going to practice with her track team with her best friend, Yukari, standing by to watch and her school sweetheart, Amano, who is on the male track team. When it was time for her run, she had some sort of vision about a knight in armor and these big giant machines causing destruction. She fainted from shock and was taken to the nurses bed to rest. When she awoke, Amano was right there. Amano had something to tell Hitomi though. Amano was leaving that night to further pursue his running career. Hitomi was saddened by the fact but asked Amano if he could time her run to see if she could get a better time. She told Amano to use her special pendant that her grandmother had given to her to time her run. While Hitomi was running, her vision that she had earlier became real. She bumped into the knight in armor, Van. Van wondered where he was but hurriedly told Hitomi and her friends to get out of there fast. Then suddenly, a dragon appeared. Hitomi, Amano and Yukari ran as fast as they could. The dragon was interested in Hitomi's pendant so it followed them. Van tried to protect them and slow it down by battling it. Then, Hitomi had a striking premonition of Van getting killed so she rushed to save him just in the nick of time. Van then found the opportunity to strike at the dragon's weakpoint and slayed the dragon. He then took out some round reddish glowing orb from it's body. Hitomi was mad at Van and then all of a sudden, then were both being transported to another world, back to Van's world of Gaea. This anime is great for anyone, it will be loved by all, watch it!
