Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou/His & Her Circumstances

Kareshi Kanojou no Jijou (KareKano for short) is a really great anime. It's an anime made by Gainax, the makers of Evangelion. It's really different from Evangelion. This time it is a shoujo anime. KareKano deals more about love and relationships and does contain some elements of Evangelion (I won't say to not spoil anything). The anime stars our lovers, Yukino Miyazawa and Souchiro Arima (pictured above). Yukino has a habit of always being the best and loved to be praised since she was just a kid. So she wanted to hear more so she studied and worked hard to be someone who she really isn't. She wanted to be a perfect model student. Everyone would say how good she is and how pretty she was. She would always be asked for help on homework and they would say how smart she is. However, she never really had a real group of friends. All that started to change when Souchiro Arima entered the school and her class. Now he gets all the praise and everyone asks him for help for problems on homework. On the test results, Souchiro had beaten her and she was shocked. She was going to get him back. She was going to study hard all the time and then get 1st on the test results and shove it in his face. So, she had this big grudge against him but never showed it as to not shatter her perfect image. Well the day came when the test results came and she was 1st and beat Souchiro and she got the praise back. She wanted to see how he would react but all he did was congratulate her. Yukino felt she made a big mistake because he is so sincere. Souchiro revealed later that he really liked her. This anime is just so funny and cute and lovey dovey sometimes. Yukino realizes later that she really loves Souchiro and more characters come and it becomes even funnier. Please watch this anime!!!
