The Adventure of a Lifetime
"You must head east. Close the gate to the Seventh Dimension. Save the Realmz..." The voice trails off into the distance. Dark clouds loom overhead and lightning dances across the horizon. The clouds grow darker and darker choaking the land from the light of the sun. The darkness, it is a thing; it is alive. The land becomes part of the darkness. It surrounds you. It squeezes the very life from your bones. Your heart is crushed under the immense weight. You scream as you exhale your last breath...

You wake in a cold sweat. The rest of your meager band are already up, sharpening their blades and packing their supplies. You all shared the same dream. You head towards the docks and arrange to travel on a ship bound for the eastern lands of the Realmz. You set out, unaware of your destination, knowing only that you must succeed or the Realmz will perish.

One morning, after two long weeks on the sea, you are awoken by the immense rocking of the ship. Up on deck the crew is in a frenzy. Rain is coming down in sheets and the sky is black as night. Are you too late? Is this the end? The bow of the ship dives down into the terrifying sea. The captain calls out from the stern, "Abandon ship!! She's a goin' down!". You grab your gear. Suddenly there is a huge roar...all is black.

Shaking off the remaining shreads of unconsciousness, you find yourself on a beach. You can see thousands of white buildings all around. Is this heaven? Of course not!!! As you regain your senses, you notice an angry mob surrounds your group hurling stones and shouting obsenities in your direction. Here we go again! And so begins the greatest adventure of all time...SOULFORGE.

Your journey begins in the beautiful coastal metropolis of Marinia. Your stay there will be short and hopefully fruitful. From there, you will travel through great valleys, across desolate deserts, into foreboding mountains, and deep into murky swamps. You will do battle with orcs and goblins and of course dragons. You will also meet many terrifying new foes. Your quest will lead you to places you never imagined in your wildest dreams. In the end you will be immortalized as heroes of the Realmz, or you will die trying. Soulforge is a vast scenario that covers a huge expanse of land that is chalk full of battles, puzzles, and a little wry humor on the side. I suppose I let my imagination run too much, so it is kind of big, but that just adds hours to your playing enjoyment. Currently the scenario is still in development. I haven't been able to judge how close I am to finishing, but I will let you know when to start looking for it to come out. So check back here occaisonally for updated news. I will also post some more screenshots in the next couple of weeks.
