Arawn the Reaper

Arawn is the God of Dead and ruler of the the underworld or death realm known as Annwn. He is the reaper of souls though he rarely has to travel from his realm to collect them. Most find their own way to him. Arawn has absolute power over life and death and all the other deities must defer to him in these matters. On times when he has to traval from his realm he appoints his old friend  Pwyll to rule in is stead who he made a Lord of Annwn in times of old.
Roleplaying Notes
Arawn is seen as a dark terrifing figure. However this is not always the case. In his own realm he is a caring considerate deity. Particularly when it comes to his wife. When it comes to matters of Death he takes a darker side. Though he judges matter of Death with an eye to justice. He is adverse to the resurection of mortals and the other deities respect this. They only allow their priests to do so in dire situations. If this ever happens however their is a 5% chance that Arawn will send his Avatar to recalim the mortal and a 25% chance he will send his Avatar to bargain for the mortal.

Arawn’s Avatar (Fighter 21st, Priest 24th, Wizard 18th)
Arawns avatar can take on two forms. One of that of a normal in black robes  with dark, deep set features and the other that of a black robed skeletal figure bearing a Sythe.

Special Att/Def: His magic resistance increases to 100% against harmful magic cast against him. Anyone hitting him with a magical weapon must make a save vs death magic or die. Each time he hits someone they must make a save vs death magic or die.

Duties of the Priesthood
It is the duty of the Priests to officiate over the dead. To perform burial rites and to gaurentee the souls passage to Annwn then eventually onto the next life or Avalon.
Requirements: AB Wis 15; AL NG, LN, TN, NE; WP Dagger, Knife, Sythe and Bow; AR Any.
