The Morrigan is an ancient goddess of may aspects. She is a warrior maiden, prophetess and symbol of life yet these are all split up into different aspects. No-one is sure if she is one single deity or made up of several though many believe it is three because each aspect is so different.. She has three major cults devoted to her one to symbolise each aspect of Spring, Summer and Winter. She is said to have a fourth aspect, that of Autumn but it has been lost in history and and it no longer worshipped. Some actually say the fourth aspect is that of Brigantia which split away.
