BOSSES

Bowser is technically the first boss you come across. He is a piece of cake though. When you go into battle with him you automatically have full HP and FP. Don't bother hurting Bowser, he doesn't die. When you attack focus on Kinklink, the chain holding up the chandelier. Use timed jumps. It takes about two of those before you'll win.

You meet the Hammer Bros. at the end of Mushroom Way. Each one has 50 HP so make your hits count. Use timed jumps to take them out. You should be at least Level 2. If you really want to wipe them out you should be higher than Level 2. A well timed jump could take out up to 36 HP at a time. After defeating them you recieve a Hammer and a Flower Jar.

Croco is in Bandits Way after you decide to help Mallow get back his Rare Frog Coin. You should be at least on Level 3 so you can use the Fire Orb. That attack does the most damage on him. Although we recommend being at Level 4. He has 320 HP. Your reward is a wallet and the Rare Frog Coin.

After defeating Croco you go back to Mushroom Kingdom to find a bunch of Shysters scaring the townspeople. Save all the townspeople before going into the castle. Each party member should be at Level 5 to be most effective if not more. Mario shoud use a timed jump while Mallow clears out the Shysters with a timed Thunderbolt. Mack has 480 HP. After you defeat him you receive the First Star Piece.

You find Belome in the Kero Sewers. You should at least be at Level 6 and have the Jump Shoes on Mario. Equip Mallow with the Trueform Pin. Use Mario's Super Jump. If you're good with the Super Jump you can beat him in 1 or 2 rounds. If you're not good with the Super Jump you REALLY NEED TO BE!!!

He is in Forest Maze. For how to get to him, look in our secrets page. he has 720 HP. You should be at Level 7 for him. If you want to use Magic Attacks use the Regular Attacks and wait until he turns them off. After beating him you are rewarded a Flower Box and the Second Star Piece.

Croco is back and a lot tougher. He learns a new trick... He takes your items. He has 750 HP but still the same weaknesses...fire. Use Mario's Fire Orb if not the Super Flame or Fire Bomb.

You find this guy in the mine at Moleville. He has 1200 HP. You should be at Level 8 preferably. If you have the Jump Shoes you can use the Super Jump on Punchinello. If you don't have the Jump Shoes your jumps will be ineffective. Use Geno's Finger Shot. When he's gone you get the Third Star Piece.

Yes, Booster is a boss. You'll have to fight him if you don't have a lot of skills in the curtain game. He has 800 HP. Like many other bosses, his weakness is Jump Attacks. After you beat him him he'll fork over a Flower Box.

These guys are at the balcony of Booster's Tower. Knife Guy has 700 HP and Grate Guy has 900 HP. You should be at Level 8 but we recommend Level 9. So Geno Boost Mario and use the Super Jump on Knife Guy. Everyone else should use regular attacks and/or Items for replenishing HP and FP. Continue this until they are both gone. You earn a Flower Jar.

You find them in the chapel at Marrymore. Focus on the cake, not on chef Torte or his assistant. After you take out 900 HP the cooks will flee and you'll have to fight the cake. Each candle has only 10 HP, but after your turn is over some of them recover and you can take out one candle at a time. Then you'll be left with Raspberry. He has 600 HP. Once again let Mario use his Jump Attacks. You'll be glad you have the Jump Shoes.

He is in the Sunkin Ship after you figure out the password. If you don't know the password check out the secrets section. You'll have to take out his tentacles before you actuall get to him. Use Mario's fire attacks. You should be at least at level 12, but, yes, we recommend a higher level. You should be at Level 19 or higher. That's right. 19! Yes as you expected there is a trick to it. You'll find out how in our In-Depth Strategy Guide (IDSG). Each left tentacle has 260 HP. Each right has 200 HP. Calamari has 800 HP. His weakness is fire.

Jonathan has 820 HP. You should at least be at Level 13. Take out all the Bandana Blues except one. The reason for this is that if you kill that last one, four more will come out. Each Bandana Blue has 220 HP. You should use the Super Jump for Jonathan Jones. Pretty soon he'll challenge you one-on-one. If you are at Level 15 or higher he shouldn't be a problem. You get the Fourth Star Piece, . . . for now anyway.

You should have Mario, Geno, and Bowser. You should be at Level 14 so Geno can use his Geno Blast. He has 1500 HP. Even though he has a weakness for thunder attacks, Mallow is just plain weak. Bowser's hurly gloves are a powerful weapon. When he does his Mirage Attack, the first one the arrow points to is the real Yaridovich. After you beat him you get back the star and he'll fork over a Shed Key, which opens the locked door.

Fighting Belome this time won't be as easy as the first. He learns a new attack. He swallows someone then makes a clone out of him. I'll give you tips on how to beat him later.

Smilax shouldn't be any trouble, but save just in case.
