(Rush opening plays. The IWA logo appears on screen as the music plays. The logo disappears showing the sold-out Molson Center in Montreal, Quebec. Fireworks go off. The music dies as the camera pans around to the commentators' booth with Rick Miller and Eddie Reagan.)
Rick: Fans, tonight will be one of the biggest Rushes ever! Tonight, twelve men will battle in a tournament for the vacant Heavyweight Title. But, the title will not be decided tonight. The three finalists will meet in a triple threat match at Winter Meltdown, for the title.
Eddie: Also, two newcomers, Rukus and The Rush will go at it in a Submission only match. Vukota and Impulse will meet in a barbwire match later on. And Dan Benson will square off against Snow Wolf.
Rick: And a reminder, we're just five days away from Winter Meltdown. It's going to be one of our biggest PPV's to date and it's all sold-out, so make sure to order it on PPV.
Eddie: Anyways, lets head to our first match.
(Rukus comes to the ring first. Then, The Rush makes his entrance. The bell sounds as they lock up. The lock is broken, and The Rush is nailing Rukus with big lefts and rights. Rukus is backed into the ropes, Rush throws him into the ropes, but he hangs on. Rush bends down for a back-body drop, and Rukus kicks him in the face. He clotheslines him to the ground. Rukus begins stomping on Rush. He brings him to his feet and whips him into the corner, followed by a dropkick, but Rush moves on time. The Rush tries to capitalize on this with a lariat, but Rukus is quick. He grabs Rush's arm and brings him down to the mat with an armlock submission hold. Rush grabs the ropes. Rukus gets up, taking his time, waiting for The Rush. Rush gets to his feet. Rukus kicks him in the chest, and throws him into the ropes. Rush comes back and ducks a lariat. He comes back and nails a cross-body block, into a pin, but the ref isn't counting since it's a submission match. Rukus kicks out. Both men rise to their feet. The Rush strikes first with a series of big rights, followed by a belly-to-belly. Rush brings him up and tries for a full-nelson, but Rukus blocks it. The Rush hits him with a right and tries again, this time he succeeds. Rukus fights the pain. He eventually frees himself by hooking the legs and taking Rush down. Rukus tries an ankle submission. Rush screams in pain, but doesn't give. Rush tries to reach the ropes, but is pulled back to the center of the ring. Rush fights the pain still. He tries to reach the ropes again, but again Rukus pulls him to the center. He can do nothing but tap out.)
Eddie: Rukus gets the win. This guy has some potential, I like him.
Rick: It was a great match, both these men have potential. Alright, up next we've got two straight first round matches of the tournament. Element will take on the giant, Titan. And Josh Simcox will take on Buzz Tyler.
Element pins Titan after the Element Breakdown in 13:45
Buzz Tyler pins Josh Simcox after a running powerbomb in 7:24
Rick: Element with the big win over the temporary leader of the HellRazas, and Tyler with the win over another HellRaza, Josh Simcox. That's two big wins for the Nighthawks over the HellRazas.
Eddie: That also means a Nighthawk vs. Nighthawk match in the second round. This should be interesting.
Rick: Defenitely. Ok, we've got to take a break. Stay with us.
Rick: Ok, we're back. Up next we're having all four remaining first round matches.
Eddie: But, it seems that Hyuk Suh Kim is not here. What's going to happen with his match against Jack Dempsey?
Rick: Well, it seems that one of NeWA's biggest superstars, Boog-man, will be taking his spot in the tournament.
Eddie: What about Phillips' spot. He's got the NeWA TV belt so can't get the Heavyweight belt. Who will be getting his?
Rick: I believe Neurosis will be getting that spot. Ok, let's get to the first match.
Tanis beats Fabul by DQ when the Sheik attacks Tanis in 7:48
R.J. Harris pins Neurosis after the Broken Heart in 15:32
Kristian Choas pins Magna after a piledriver in 8:11
Jack Dempsey pins Boog-man after the DDD in 13:49
Eddie: What a great match for Jack Dempsey, as he upsets the Boog-man to advance to the next round.
Rick: I don't know if I would call it an upset. Boog-man is a great superstar, but Dempsey is ranked the number three contender.
Eddie: Well anyway, it's going to be Element vs. Tyler, Tanis vs. Harris, and KC vs. Dempsey. Things are heating up.
Rick: Time for a break. Stay with us.
Rick: We're back. A reminder folks, in just five days is Winter Meltdown, from Quebec City. We will have several title matches, including a defense for the NeWA International champion, Adam Fierce, and the triple threat for the IWA Heavyweight title.
Eddie: Anyway, on to the match at hand. Dan Benson has been proving himself as a great competitor since his debut in the WCCW. But, he has yet to do so here. Next, he'll try to make his ascent against Snow Wolf. But Snow Wolf isn't no stepping stone. Let's see how this one goes.
(Dan Benson comes to the ring, accompanied by Classy Eddie Blazzy. Then, Snow Wolf comes down with his manager, Mr. El Salvador. They enter the ring and the bell sounds. Benson quickly kicks Snow Wolf in the chest. He tries to DDT his early, but Snow Wolf easily fights it off, and reverses into a back-body-drop. Benson rolls out of the ring, but quickly comes back in. He moves to avoid an attack from Snow Wolf. Both men are on their feet. Benson brings Snow Wolf up, and throws him in the ropes. Snow Wolf comes back, Benson bends down and executes a back-body drop. Snow Wolf slowly gets to his feet. Benson kicks him in the stomach and whips him in the corner. He tries to follow with a reverse splash, but Snow Wolf ducks. Benson hits the corner and lands on Snow Wolf. Snow Wolf puts him on his shoulders, stands up, and drops it hard on the turnbuckle. Snow Wolf goes for the pin, 1..2.. kick out. Benson is brought to his feet. Snow Wolf executes a belly-to-back suplex. Snow Wolf runs into the ropes for leverage, but Classy Eddie hooks the leg, and Snow Wolf goes down. Benson is up first and kicks Snow Wolf a few times in the ribs. He takes his opponent and throws him in the ropes. Snow Wolf comes back, Benson jumps for a cross-body, but SW catches him and drops him with a backbreaker. Snow Wolf makes the cover, 1..2.. kick out. He chokes Benson, and stops at the 4 count. Snow Wolf takes "Natural Boy" and nails a vertical suplex, followed by several knee drops. He grabs Benson in a Fireman's Carry, and drops him with a Death Valley Driver. Rather than going for the pin, Snow Wolf takes Benson and sits him on the top turnbuckle.)
Rick: Oh, what is he doing? This looks bad for Benson.
Eddie: I don't know, but I don't like it.
(Snow Wolf climbs up to the second rope. He stuffs Benson's head under his arm, and leans back for a second rope DDT, but Benson holds on to the ropes, then jumps off with Snow Wolf and nails a huge sidewalk slam, and goes for the pin, 1..2..3.)
Eddie: What a match. "Natural Boy" counters the DDT with a huge sidewalk slam. Wow!
Rick: What is Classy Eddie doing?
(Classy Eddie Blazzy has a golf club in his hand. He nails Mr. El Salvador in the head, knocking him out. Classy Eddie throws the club in the ring to Benson. "Natural Boy" takes the club and nails Snow Wolf with it. Benson hits him several times before finally stopping his brutal attack. Classy Eddie has a mic. He throws it to Benson in the ring.)
Dan: Apollo, that'll be you one week from today.
(Benson throws the mic down and heads back to the locker room area.)
Eddie: A message for Apollo
Rick: And a big one at that. Ok, our next match is the second round of the tournament. Two Nighthawks battle it out to advance to the finals.
(Element comes down to the ring as the Nighthawks music plays. Then, another Nighthawk, Buzz Tyler comes to the ring. The bell sounds, and they lock up. Tyler backs Element into the corner, but Element comes right back, backing Tyler into the opposite corner. But Tyler turns him around and begins with big rights. He nails a series of knife-edge chops, and tries to throw him in the turnbuckle, but Element reverses it, but Tyler reverses it again. Element hits the corner hard, and starts to walk aimlessly. Tyler nails him with a bulldog and goes for the pin, 1..2.. kick out. Tyler brings him up, throws him in the ropes, and goes for a lariat, but Element ducks and throws him over the ropes to the outside. Element runs into the ropes for leverage, comes back and dives over the top rope and lands on top of Tyler. The ref is counting, 1...2...3... Element rams his head on the railing and throws him back in. Element climbs back in. He grabs Tyler, throws him in the ropes, Tyler ducks a clothesline, and tries for a sidekick, but nails the ref instead. The ref is out. Tyler grabs a pair of brass knuckles out of his trunks. Element leaves the ref and goes to Tyler, but Buzz turns around and nails him square in the head. Tanis, Magna and Vukota run down the aisle.)
Rick: Tyler clocked Element, and it doesn't seem like the Nighthawks like it.
Eddie: Or are they here to attack Element?
(The three Nighthawks jump in the ring. They attack Tyler with rights. Vukota and Magna bring him down and work on him with stomps. Tanis climbs the top turnbuckle and jumps off with a huge splash. Magna takes Tyler and nails Magna's Drop. Manga and Vukota leave the ring. Tanis wakes the ref and joins his stablemates down the aisle. Element is up. He grabs Tyler and executes the Element Breakdown, and goes for the pin, 1..2..3.)
Rick: Obviously some trouble within the Nighthawks. None the less, Element advances into the finals.
Eddie: Who will he face? R.J. Harris or Tanis? We'll find out when we come back.
(The number one contender comes down to the ring, the fans boo loudly. Then, the fans cheer wildly, as the IWA International Champion comes to the ring. The two great athletes lock as the bell sounds.)
Rick: This'll be one great match.
Eddie: Two of the best go at it to advance to the finals. There's already one Nighthawk. Will there be two?
(Harris knees Tanis in the chest and drops him with a Russian legsweep. He drops the leg and goes for the pin, 1.. kick out. Tanis is up. He ducks a lariat and kicks Harris in the chest, then kicks him in the face. Harris backs into the ropes. Tanis runs at him and nails a lariat. Harris flips over the ropes, but stays on the apron. Harris goes for the pin, 1..2.. Tanis kicks out.)
Eddie: Whew, I thought he got him there.

Both men rise to their feet. Tanis brings Harris down quickly with a lariat. He stomps on the International champ. Tanis headbutts Harris in the lower abs. He takes Harris, throws him in the ropes and tries for a flying shoulderblock, but Harris sticks out his boot. Tanis nails it all goes down. Harris is up. He grabs Tanis' legs and turns him over in a Boston Crab. Tanis screams in pain. He tries to get out but can't manages. Tanis reaches the ankle to try to reverse the hold, and does. Harris is in the middle of the ring. He taps out.)
Rick: Oh, Harris submits. Tanis is moving on to Winter Meltdown. What a match.
Eddie: What a night! So it'll be Tanis and Element in the finals so far. Next we'll find out who will be the third entry, Kristian Chaos, or Jack Dempsey.
(Kristian Chaos comes down to the ring. Jack Dempsey is next. The bell sounds as they both enter the ring. They circle the ring, then they lock up. KC headbutts Dempsey, then grabs him, and throws him in the ropes. Dempsey comes back and is leveled with a huge shoulderblock. Chaos grabs Dempsey and whips him in the corner. He picks him up, and drops him again, this time with the Insomniac. KC makes the cover, 1..2..3.)
Rick: This was a match. It went back and forth all the way through right until the end.
Eddie: Yeah, Dempsey could have had the win, but KC was victorious. That means it'll be Element, Tanis, and KC in the finals at the PPV for the title. That's not good for KC.
Rick: Ok, we're going to take one more break. When we come back we'll have our final match of the night.
Rick: We're back. Next we'll have Impulse and Vukota go at it in a barbwire match. The barbwire is already set up, so lets go to the action.
(Impulse comes to the ring first. Then, Nighthawk, Vukota comes to the ring. They enter the ring and the bell sounds. Vukota kicks Impulse in the stomach as he turns around. He takes him down with a kick to the head. Impulse gets right back up and gets nailed with a dropkick into the barbwire ropes. Impulse is cut, but gets right back up. Vukota tries a lariat but this time Impulse moves, Vukota manages to stop before he hits the barbwire, but Impulse nails him with a dropkick to the back, sending him into the barbwire and over to the outside. Impulse gets a running start and dives over the barbwire on Vukota on the outside, but scratches him chest on the way. Impulse gets up, so does Vukota. They exchange blows. Eddie: What is this? They all are wearing Unholy Trinity shirts, even Dempsey. And KC has an extra one.
Rick: Dempsey is part of the UT. And who are they recruiting, Vukota or Impulse?
(All three UT members walk to where Impulse and Vukota lay. KC walks to Impulse and stops. He passes him and walks over to Vukota. KC picks him up, and shoves him through the barbwire into the ring, painfully. Dempsey and Fabul carefully help Impulse in the ring. Impulse gets up and grabs Vukota. He nails a big Powerbomb and goes for the pin, 1..2..3.)
Rick: What a match. It looks like Impulse is the newest recruit for the UT. But will he accept?
(KC, Fabul, and Dempsey enter the ring. KC hands the shirt to Impulse. Impulse looks at Chaos, Fabul, and Dempsey, then puts the shirt on. They all then beat on Vukota. Eddie: YEAH!
Rick: And, Buzz Tyler isn't here. What's going on with the Nighthawks? Fans, we're out of time. Don't forget to order Winter Meltdown.
