opening plays, scene switches to the sold out arena in Cornawall, Ontario,
Fireworks go off as the Weekend Rumble theme plays , camera pans to show the
commentators booth with Rick and Eddie. )
Rick: Welcome to WR ladies and gentlemen.
Eddie: Hey Ricky...do we have a great show coming up tonight?
Rick: First off, stop calling me Ricky!! and second, we have a great show tonight as always...what a dumb question!
We have many great matches here tonight. They include, two number one contender matches! The first is for the tag straps as the Overlords are set to do battle with Fabul and Shinzei.
Eddie: Fabul! Is it going to be hardcore?
Rick: I am not even going to answer that...Eddie, next time you decide you want to talk...don't! The other match, our main event is a triple threat match for a chance to face Byron Tanis, we'll have Naissance, Wolfgang Krauser, and Buzz Tyler! That will be a great match.
Eddie: We also have a cruserweight title match!
Rick: Wow, Eddie, you actually said something that made sense! As he said, the cruiserweight title will be on the line as Dirty Dog is set to face the champ, Nightstalker. We have these matches plus any more...but first I have an interview to give.
(Rick leaves the commentators booth and climbs into the ring with a mic.)
Rick: Ladies and Gentleman, here is your new IWA Northern Champion, Dale Lewis!
(Dale Lewis come out to a tremendous cheer from the audience. He gets into the ring with Rick. Rick Miller stands in the ring with Lewis. Lewis stands in street clothes, title belt around his waist, and black armband on his left arm. It's not a unique gesture, but a respectful and appropriate one nonetheless.)
Rick: Dale, congratulations on your victory this past Monday. It was a heckuva match.
Dale: Thank you. It meant a lot. Though it didn't happen under very pleasant circumstances, of which we're all aware of, I still cherish the moment of winning in front of my home crowd, and I can't wait to begin my title reign.
Rick: Well that reign's going to be difficult to uphold here in the IWA. Are you utilizing moves like that top rope hurricanrana we saw last outing to make your offense more versatile?
Dale: Uh...no, actually, that was a mistake. I intend, not as a tribute, but as the way I've always done things, to try and keep grounding my opponents, and winning matches with wrestling...that's assumedly what the crowd comes to see anyway...wrestling. And I think it will hold up against
any style just fine.
Rick: And who do you propose to demonstrate this strategy on first?
(It's a question Dale's been pondering for awhile now. He readies an answer he's been dying to get out.)
Dale: The clamouring has been much in the days since I've won the title. Element of course wants a rematch, as does Vice, and both, in due time, I am prepared to face. They rightfully deserve their shots, and they will get them sooner than later. However, there is some other unfinished business -
business which dates a couple weeks back - which I'd like to take care of first. Frost, you've finally vocally made your return to the IWA. That's fine. What's not fine is the way you decided to physically interject yourself into my first title match against Rukus, and for that, I'd indeed like a measure of revenge. What's in it for you? Simple. A shot at the Northern Title is yours if you accept. I'd like to see you as soon as day after tomorrow, but any time and any place will certainly do. What do you say?
Rick: There you have it. Dale Lewis is ready for his first title defense. We'll be back right after this.
(Frost's music plays and he comes out and enters the ring. Flame comes out as well. The bell sounds and the two men lock up. Flame gets the upper hand and throws Frost across the ring. Frost shkes his head and gets back up and he runs at Flame with a clothesline. Frost misses and he bounces of the ropes. He comes back with a flying body cross which takes Flame down. Then Frost gets up and he picks up Flame. He sets him up for a piledriver.)
Eddie: That looks like it hurt! What a great move.
(Frost picks him up again and throws him into the turnbuckle. Frost follow up with a clothesline. He then climbs up to the second turnbuckle while Flame is still there. He tries for a hurricanrana, but Flame grabs him and he slams Frost on the mat. Frost looks like he may be hurt. Flame climbs the ropes and he executes a flying elbow. Frost grabs his chest in pain. Flame picks him up and sets him up for a neck breaker. Flame is pleased with himself and he flexes for the crowd. While he is doing this Frost is getting up. He is waiting for it...he runs at Flame just as Flame turns around. He hits a spear! He knocks over Flame goes for the pin. The ref counts 1...2...3.)
Rick: What a great match! Flame made that one mistake and Frost capitilized. That ends Flames winning streak.
Eddie: Can we have a hardcore match?
Rick: I told you befor ethe show...there is notgoing to be any hardcore matches! Folks, we have to go to commercials, but when we come back, we will have the Cruiserweight belt on the line!
(Dirty Dogs theme plays and he comes out. He walks to the ring and he jumps high over the ropes. The Nightstalker's theme plays, and he come. He has his Belt over his shoulder as he cimbs into the ring.)
(The bell rings and they run at each other. DD goes for the kick but is block, but he counter with a spinning heel kick which knocks over Nightstalker. DD runs towards the ropes and come back to land a leg drop on Nightstalker. DD drags him over to the corner. He climbs the ropes and executes a 450 splash! He climbs the ropes again, and tries for big splash, but the champ gets a foot up which gets DD in the gut. Both men are down, but Nightstalker gets to his feet first. He picks DD up and throws him into the ropes. Nightstalker waits for him, he pulls down the top rope and that sends DD crashing to the outside. Nightstalker runs against the opposite ropes and he then dives over the ropes to hit a flying clotheslinme on DD who falls once again.)
Rick: This two men are risking their lives with very move!
Eddie: Isn't it great!
(Nightstalker rolls DD back into the ring. Nightstalker sets him up for his finisher, the Hammer, he executes it perfectly! He goes for the cover...1...2...3.)
Rick: What a great compition! These two were great! Next up we have Def Squad member Rob Bastad, taking on Vice.
Eddie: Do you suppose Element wil be here?
Rick: We will soon find out!
(The Def Squads theme plays as Rob Bastard comes out and he is be accompianied by Element. Then the Vice's music plays. And Vice comes to the ring.)
(Befor ethe bell can ring, Element comes flying across the ringa and nails Vice. He sets him up for the Element Breakdown and he hist it perfectly. Vice is left in the corner, as the referee orders Element to go back to the back. After some arguing, he goes. The bell sounds and Bastard starts working on the injured Vice.)
Rick: Element got in a cheap shot there. That will definatly heat up that rivalry!
(RB throws Vice into the ropes. He hits the big boot to the face of Vice. Vice goes down hard. RB tries for the pin...1...2..and a kick out.)
Rick: Vice is lucky this match isn't over there. I am sure he is still feeling the effects of that Element Breakdown!
(RB picks up Vice, and Vice stats to fight back with some punches to the stomach. RB is staggering, Vice runs into the ropes and comes back with a clothline. Vice knocks RB over. Vice goes for the pin...1...2, RB kicks out. Vice goes for a leg drop, but noonew was home! RB capitilises, and he sets him up for a brainbuster, he hits it and goes for the pin...1...2...3.)
Eddie: Thanks to Element!
Rick: Vice really was fighting an uphill battle after that Element Breakdown, and Bastard is a great wrestle. Vice will definatly be after Element in the near future! Folks we have to go to commercials
Overlords vs. Fabul and Shinzei A great match, Fabul and Shinzei hit a lot of high risk moves on the larger Overlords. Fabul and Shinzei controlled a good part of the match. The ref got knocked out when he accidently got hit by Claymore. The Extreme Champ, Fabul started with some hardcore moves on the Overlords while the ref was out. Shinzei decided to help out with a chair shot to Serge while Fabul held him. He swung and Serge ducked. Fabul got the shot square off the head! Serge gave a shocked Shinzei a powerbomb and Claymore hit his finisher, the Highland Sickle on Fabul and went for the pin just as the refferee woke up.

Rukus vs. Snow Wolf Your Winner and Still International Champion, in 12:34, Rukus!
Naissance vs. Buzz tyler vs. Wolfgang Krauser Anothe rgreat match. Naissance came out first followed by Tyler, Tyler was booed by the crowd the whole match after the comment he made all week. These two went right at it as soon as Tyler hit the ring. WK came in and watched for a second before taking Naissance and putting him in a powerbomb. Tyler and WK stopped while Naissance was down. They got talking to each other and they looked liek they had decided to work together. WK picked up Naissance and he hit a suplex. Tyler picked Naissance up and he hit a neck breaker followed by a back breaker. The two men took Naissance outside of the ring. They beat him into the post and ring steps numorous times before coming back in at the 9 count. Naissance was badly beaten. Tyler then looked at WK and said that he was going to pin Naissance. WK shook his head no and took a swing at Tyler. They fought while Naissance laid in a heap near the corner. Tyler put Krauser into a powerbomb and while Krauser was down, he went to get a chair. He hit WK in the head a few times beore leaving him to pin Naissance. By now, Naissance was getting his second wind and he kicked out of Tyler's pin attempt. Tyler then hit a powerbomb followed by a ddt and then a piledriver. He went for the pin but Krauser was back up and he had the chair. He hit Tyler ove rthe back and the over the head. He then spit in Tyler face. WK then started yelling at Tyler and he swung once more with the chair. Naissance, then snuck up from behind and he rolled up WK for the 3 count.
