Well, this site was a long time in the making...
Actually, I put it off til now because I couldn't be arsed...
Still. And anyhow, now I have come to tell you about my Conspiracy X campaign.
It's more likely to make you laugh than to actually give you good ideas for a campaign..
Still...I feel there were some interesting elements...
For the most part there is a focus on the Greys, and psychic research. After a while I got bored with that,
and at the moment, the group is uncovering a military conspiracy funded by members of congress.
It helps to understand the plot if you first know that I rarely actually write adventures. This keeps the action constantly unpredictable..
My players wouldn't begin to understand how much shite I make up on the spot...
Cast of Characters
Martin Starn MKULTRA: Ross.
Vincent Silvera Occult Researcher: Richard.
Dr Marcus Jamerson MOONDUST: Simon.

Myles T. Jameson [No relation to Jamerson.] Centre of Disease Control: Rob.
Lab Assitant, Nancy Taylor: NPC.
Session One
Cast: Martin Starn.
This was essentially an easy introductory adventure, lasting little more than a few hours.
Martin was a newly recruited Psychic, and he'd been told jack shit about anything.
He pulled a few strings, which were considerable due to his vast influence, and he got himself a base.
This was a research facility, with a small [I emphasise small] labratory,
a dormitary, a heli pad, and a Military Assualt Helicopter.
Nothing like subtle behaviour is there?
In any case, Martin was flicking through the papers one March day this year [the adventure was ran in August]
and saw a story in which a farmer claimed to have found a saucer on his land.
Stereo typical I know...
Martin went to investigate, merrily moving along on a cheap bike. Not a motor bike, I add...
So he talked to the farmer, who then denied the saucer being there, and wouldn't talk about where it was.
After much talk, Martin established that the farmer was being threatened by 'government men', dressed in black.
Martin realised he wasn't going to get anything, so he probed the mind of the farmer, and headed South to the saucer site.
Martin then realised that he had no way to get a saucer back to his base.
As he pondered this problem, the farmer, controlled by Grey survivors of the crash,
charged him with a shotgun. Fortunately, Martin was able to use a borrowed MHIC-EDOM on the farmer, causing a trance.
He then splashed alchohol on the farmer so that he would appear drunk.
He then called out a Lorry-For-Hire company in order to retrieve the saucer.
And MHIC-EDOMed the workers so that they would not remember him.
And then he splashed alchohol on them too.
And then I reminded him that the MHIC EDOM was only good for one hour for memory.
BWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!
Later that night, before he could research the Saucer, the Greys stopped time and stole the saucer back.
However, he had succeeded in analysing an Amnesia lense, which he then turned oevr to AEGIS.
Pleased by his progress, AEGIS assigned a lab assistant to him, and paid for his laboratory to be upgraded.
Session Two
Cast: Martin Starn.
Martin, feeling smug, and believing that he had the hang of cover ups, then decided to look for more alien related events.
He couldn't find any, but he did find that a body had been dumped in a skip outside a doctor's practice.
He went along to the scene, by bike as usual, and began to talk with the police, who were quite unco-operative.
He then probed the minds of various people around, and popped several psi drugs in the process.
He entered the practice, and checked out the names of all the doctors who worked there.
And then he found and observed the homes of all the doctors, and came to a dead end when he realised that the doctors wouldn't be running around screaming 'I DID IT!!!!'
He then decided that the head doctor was the most likely suspect, and arranged for the sale of the house backed to the doctors house, with a connecting garden.
And bought the house, thus giving him reason to invite all the neighbours to a housewarming barbecue.
He then attempted to probe the mind of the doctor, and was somewhat suprised when his telepathic probe was resisted by the doctor's force of will.
He then popped more pills, and tried harder. And found that, yes indeed, the doctor was the murderer.
Martin then staked out the house, and finally gave up and raided the practice.
This he did by requisitioning a pneumatic drill, and breaking in through the cellar from the subway.
He then stole the doctor's computer, found a dead body in the fridge, and then decided to run away.
He spent the next month in his suburban house, hacking into the doctor's files.
He found that the doctor was a member of Black Book, and that he was conducting research for the Greys on the improvement of human psychic abilities.
The files included pictures of dissected human brains, labels, nervous system analysis, electrotherapy suggestions, and manipulation of DNA.
Martin then found a file indicating a meeting with the Black Book.
The newly recruited Lab Assistant, Nancy Taylor [and later Stacy Jones for some reason...] helped man the assault helicopter, and they followed the doctor at midnight.
The doctor met some greys who had Men in Black bodyguards, and was just about to hhand over a spare copy of the files when-
Martin launched stinger missiles and fired the autocannon.
Martin and Nancy retrieved a Grey body, and Martin called in some Military influence, and had the warehouse area this tok place in, cordoned off.
The military claimed the action of terrorists. And Martin gained an intact Saucer.
Nancy continued research on the saucer, while Martin researched the Psychic notes of the late doctor, and then researched the Grey body.
He found that the Greys had probably been aquatic once, and shared some resemblances to Dolphins.
Using his notes, Martin than conducted research on gene therapy to enhance his own psychic abilities.
He therefore tested Grey genes on mice, to see the results. The genes related to psychics were than used on monkeys.
And then he tested some on his own blood, and selected the genes which did not fry the blood.
Martin developed Empathy, and the Psychic Mice were born.
They have plagued me ever since.
They escaped...
And Martin treated Nancy/Stacy with Grey Telekinetic genes.
AEGIS were quite pleased. Until Nancy used the research on the Grey Saucer to gain her Physics Doctorate.
It was only lucky that she dressed the research as 'purely theoretical'.
Session Three
Cast: MArtin Starn, Vincent Silvera.
AEGIS, realising that Martin was responsible for a rapid series of break throughs, decided
to assign another agent to him.
This also had the happy effect of making the team almost balanced.
Almost.
By this time, Martin was becoming grey in skin colour, and was getting rather large eyes.
And Nancy was getting pale skin. So in walks Vincent, looking forawrd to some 'action', when
he sees what looks like an alien and a goth working on an alien ship.
For a new recruit, this can be mildly offsetting.
It quickly became apparent to Martin and Nancy that the new recruit was a Martial Arts psycho, who happened to be deeply connected to
the supernatural.
They performed a mental shrug and got on with working...
And then they heard rumours of bright lights hovering above a village some 10 miles from New York, where this campaign is based.
The Psycho applied his influence, and gained for the team various weapons, laser sights, etc.
And so Martin and Vincent travelled to the village by assault heli-copter, and parked in a clearing in a small forest.
When Martin got out his bike and Vincent accidently caused it to float, and to cause the apearrance of a dead mauled ghost boy,
the group got the impression that this was a highly supernatural area.
This was born out when they talked to the local pub owner, who had a thing for ferrets, and heard about various rains of fish etc.
And they read in the local paper that there had been maulings and dead bodies recently, and so they investigated the somewhat suspect abandoned mansion.
There, the house reacted to the presence of Vincent by illuminating the candles, and pulling out a seat for him.
After a few haphazard Invocations, Vincent decided to temporarily leave the occult alone.
They decided to investigate upstairs, but were ambushed as the werewolf leapt through the staircase, upwards, at them.
They drove off the werewolf, after Martin had been heavily mauled and scarred [and corrupted] and investigated the attic.
Where they found missing people, all scarred, partly chewed, and hanging from the rafters.
Vincent and Martin left hurriedly, and Vincent called on lightning to destroy the house, which had been the root of the evil.
They then tracked down the werewolf, into the forest, where it jumped them from the trees, and mauled both of them.
Vincent drove it off with a combination of deadly martial arts, and gunfire.
The werewolf later died of exposure that night, when it reverted to human form, and had no place to retreat to.
Session Four
Cast: MArtin Starn, Dana Scully, Imra Yonel.
The Psychic mice wreaked havoc, and attempted to steal the helicopter. Martin decided to later hunt down the mice.
Dana Scully shot several hamsters and mice, and threw some into a pool she'd had built.
Imra and Martin decided to lock her in the brig.
Martin than heard of a psychic surgery, and decided to organise an appointment, in order to investigate them.
And it turned out that the Black Book ran the surgery, but Martin did not learn this before he had surgery, where he was given Clairovoyance.
In his annual medical, Martin found that he had non-malevolent brain tumour, which matched Grey brain tissue.
He was missing for one week, during which Imra was unable to locate him.
Eventually, he was returned, with no memory of the previous week.
And in his dreams, voices whisper.
Side Adventure
This was when the military conspiracy element was introduced.
Session Five:
Cast: Vincent Silvera, Dr Marcus Jamerson.
A somewhat short session. Marcus was assigned to the team in order to aid in the retrieval of alien technology.
The two conspirators heard of a plane crash near New York, so they went there at 3 am before the media could arrive...
It turned out to be a military plane, which had evidence of being hit by a coherent heat weapon.
Vincent and Marcus removed the melted metal, the black box, and any signs that the plane was a US military vehicle.
They then smashed out the pilot's teeth to prevent the use of dental records, and burned the body.
Analysing the black box, the team discovered the existance of a secret base in the mountains, and a military plot to make contact with the Saurians.
Session Six:
Cast: Martin Starn, Vincent Silvera, Dr Marcus Jamerson.
The team re-unoted, they pooled together their resources to make their base formidable.
One day I will make an up to date record of the base and its facilities...
The night after the group met up, they realised that MArtin was moving in his sleep.
He was making a diagram of his own brain, and writing mathmatical formulae by it, which the Greys had implanted into his mind.
Basically, they were using him to research himself.
The group decided that they were going to solve the Psychic Surgery problem decisively.
Marcus made photos of the diagram, which was later stolen by Greys during a time stop.
MArtin and Vincent analysed the diagram, and realised that it was in some way connected to the Psychic notes Martin retrieved earlier.
And then Martin realised it was a diary of his psychic progress, ever since he implanted Grey genes in himself.
The team then investigated the area around the Psychic surgery, and found that a Dentist surgery was connected to the Psychic Surgery building.
Martin arranged for the Dentist to win a trip with his family to the carribean for two weeks, and they used lock pick guns to break into the dentist's at night.
Nancy waited outside the surgery with a 'get away car'.
That was one of the resources they aquired since the addition of new members to the team.
They went into the dentist's attic, and climbed out onto the roof through a window.
There was a dramatic moment when Dr Marcus and Vincent almost fell off the roof, so it was just as well that
Nancy was greatly proficient in Telekinisis.
They climbed into the Psychic Surgery through a suspiciously large sky light, after removing a large pane of glass,
and having Nancy float it over the main front door...
They then realised that there was a large saucer in the attic, and found a child who refused to speak.
They then huddled around a trap door, and opened it slowly, only to find a Black Book guard underneath the trap door.
Martin implanted into the guard's mind an urge to go to the toilet. He did the same to a cover guard who helped out the distressed guard...
When a third guard, also Black Book, turned up, they decided, what the hell...
Vincent slipped down and quickly slahed the guard's throat, and then dumped him on a chair.
The others followed, and they went to the toilets and shot the remaining guards.
They found the surgery and stole random files, including one pertaining to Martin.
And Dr Marcus noticed a black car pulling up outside, and a vibrating noise came from the attic.
They decided to leave quickly when three tall aryans got out the car, so they ran to the attic.
The kid and the saucer were gone. The kid, incidently, was a Grey.
They hurried out through the skylight after balancing glass on the trap door, which slightly hindred the Aryan Men in Black as they came up.
The Black Book guards in the car investigated the front, where the Telikinetic Nancy took them out by throwing a car...
The team hurried across the skylight, as the Aryan Saurians came up through the trap door, and hurried down through the Dentists
in order to reach the get away car.
They pulled away and screamed along the road, even as one Aryan leaped right out of the attic and landed on the road.
They drove at rapid speed, even as Plasma bolts roared at them.
They came back later with the assault helicopter, and blew the surgery, and a Black Book lorry collecting the equipment, to seven shits...
The team then recovered a Plasma Claw from one of the dead Men In Black.
Needless to say, heavy research occurred over the next few weeks.
Session Seven:
Cast:Martin Starn, Vincent Silvera, Myles T. Jameson.
The team then turned their attention to the secret base.
They were joined by a new member of AEGIS, recruited from the CDC.
He brought a swat van with him.
They basically infiltrated the base dressed as [female] officers, after ripping the secret password from a soldier's mind.
Upon finding an interrogation room, they broke in, and saw a general conducting diplomacy with a Saurian.
They shot out the inhabitants of the room, including two guards, with the aid of Nancy, who made the general crush his own bollocks.
She was in a bad mood...
They retrieved a Plasma Claw, and then jammed the door shut, and hurriedly crawled through the air duct in order to escape.
They then hurriedly drove away from the base in the swat van, and barely missed being fried by a Saurian Interceptor.
Session Eight:
Cast: Vincent Silvera, Dr Marcus Jamerson.
The group decided to return to the base in order to pick up a record they had found out about [I'm leaving out how...]
, which incriminated three congressmen with funding the conspiracy known as 'Project Bonjour'.
They did this by researching the Saucer more fully, since the assault helicopter had recently been shot up by a Saurian ship.
And Nancy discovered the time stop mechanism...
So they went back to the base, which was in flames, and stopped time in order not to be spotted by the soldiers who were moving out.
They recovered the files, basically, and then returned home. Unfortunately, they were forced to use the Teleporter function to shift the saucer to the base, in order to avoid a missile.
Nancy is still unconcious from the Psychic strain, and she will probably slip into a coma.
There is no known way, currently, to combat Psychic Coma...
Sounds like a future adventure.
And Vincent now has the lives of twenty innocents on his hands, since he blew up a cyber cafe in retribution for a hacker he 'hired' there
in order to crack Bonjour's files, placing the files on the internet.
Vincent tried to get the Report in the newspapers, but the paper in which he had a media leak was destroyed soon after the story was recieved.
This session ended with Vincent and Marcus returning to the base, only to find all power offline, and three tall Aryans in their computer room, wanting to discuss some matters with the team...
Return in future, I hope to keep the campaign news updated...
I might occasionally fill in some details that I have currently forgotten to put in.
Session nine:
Cast: Vincent Silvera, Martin Starn, Myles T. Jameson.
The group, now suddenly missing Dr Marcus, due to him jumping through a window and falling unconcious
, and having Martin and Myles suddenly back, proceeded to the computer room [which only possesses two personal computers, and is quite small really]
, where they encountered three Aryan Men in Black... And yes, they were indeed Saurians.
They gave the group a choice of join the Black Book, or die. The group decided to think it over, and were rewarded with a small item of tchnology
as 'down-payment'...
It turned out to be quite utterly useless, being a translator that replayed choice phrases in German, french, and swiss, and also playing a small musical tune...
The group had been given two days to make up their minds, so Myles oversaw the completion of his animal habitat, in which he had three female snow tigers installed...
The group came to the conclusion that, in classic Bond style, they could lower captives into the habitat.
And then they realised they had nothing to feed the tigers with.
So, before he went into outer space, Martin agreed, reluctantly, to aid in a cattle abduction.
I won't detail their alternative plans, one of which involved a spray can, since it was all quite silly.
Martin used the Saucer to stick a time stop on the farm, and then the SWAT van moved into the fields, and stole a cow named Bessy.
They then drove her mooing back to the base, as Martin flew into space.
Myles, inveterate animal lover, decided the cow was too cute to kill and feed to the tigers.
He announced this to the SWAT men, and announced that they were going to take the cow back.
The SWAT men began to grumble at the prospect of further unorthodox work, but were saved when Vincent shot the cow.
They then chopped the cow into itty bits, and threw the cow into the habitat ring.
The roaring tigers, proved a slight distraction, in a sub-urban research facility...
As Martin flew into space, he noticed a huge ship flying towards Earth.
It was roughly similar in size to the USA.
Martin hurried home, and told the team of this development.
They concluded that they needed a thermo-nuclear missile, to remove this ittle problem.
The team returned the next day, to the Project Bonjour base, in the hope of finding some missiles.
This, suprise, suprise, involved Luck rolls, and so it was that the Occult researcher, Vincent, tripped over a missile shortly
after conducting a ritual of blessing. However, he had also corrupted himself by then, in a ritual blessing conducted
in the Saucer, which almost caused it to crash.
The team now had a problem of where to store this missile. But where else would they put it? The garage of course...
The team, overworked by then, used the Saucer teleporter to launch the missile into the ship far above, which took 1/4 minor damage.
Martin decided this wasn't homicidal or distructive enough, so he started teleporting boxes of Psychic Mice up to the ship.
They are still awaiting the results.
The next day, the Men in Back returned, and the team were going to accept the 'offer',
when Myles 'Quarantine' Jameson asked the Men in Black why the others might have insisted on him carrying a magnum with a silencer...
Then Vincent started insulting the men in black [they want to meet some more so that they can try 'Is that your natural hair colour?']
and the leader pinned him to the wall with two large knives. The remainder of the team ran out the door, whilst being gunned down by Plasma Claws.
Myles was hit in the legs, and had to crawl towards the habitat ring while calling for his tigers and persuading the Psychic Mice to open the Tiger Cage...
Martin ran for the helicopter, hoping to use missiles, but was also hit by plasma, and often staggered on his run towards the helicopter.
As it was, he only just got into the helicopter cock pit in time to auto-cannon the Man in Black chasing him.
In the mean time, Vincent had called on the Seepage, which rewarded him by grotesquely teleporting the leader's head into the ceiling.
Vincent then unpinned himself and shot the Man in Black about to finish off Myles.
The team then recuperated in the Base's hospital for five weeks, until they could move around in wheel chairs.
In the mean time, the tigers were running around loose...
During the 'wheelchair' period, Martin then began research on Nancy's coma, and intorduced a Nervous Repair antidote to repair her strained nerves and brain structure.
Unfortunately for Vincent, one of the people who died in the explosion of the cyber cafe was called 'Sarah Taylor'...
