Chrono Trigger Endings
Each endings depends on when you beat Lavos... So, here is it:
1. Chrono the Dark Mage - Beat Lavos afer returning to 600 AD for the
second time and before obtaining the Brave Badge. You'll see an ending
in which Chrono rules as the Wizard King and faces Tata (the heroic little
boy). This ending also shows Robo finding a new girlfriend and living happily
in the future.
2. Resurrecting Chrono - After Chrono's death, finish the game without
bringing him back to life. the heroes will disperse to their homes, but
will gather again to try bringing Chrono back to life.
3. Dino World - Take on Lavos after defeating Magus and before fighting
the Black Tyrano. In this ending, all the human beings will be extinct
and all characters, including Chrono will become lizards!!!
4. Frog Challenges Magus - Beat Lavos after giving Frog the Masamune
and before beating Magus at his castle. You'll see the ending which Frog
challenges Magus to a duel to avenge Cyrus's death and bring on his own
transformation.
5. Human Frog - After surfacing of the Black Dream, defeat Magus at
the North Cape in 10000 BC. After that, finish the game. During the ending
you will see Frog in his real human form.
6. Magus Vs. Lavos - Beat Lavos after reviving in 10000 BC and before
entering the Undersea Shrine. This ending shows Magus going up against
Lavos alone.
7. Movie Style Ending Credits - Defeat Lavos after the theft of the
gate holder and before resurrecting the Masamune. You'll get to see the
movie style ending credits.
8. Happily Ever After - Defeat Lavos after obtaining the Brave Badge
in 600 AD and before welcomig bash in the prehistoric age. You'll see the
heroes and their lives after their quest.
9. Green-Blooded Ancestry - Beat Lavos after defeating Yakra but before
returning to Guardia Castle in 1000 AD. You'll make a shocking discovery
that Marle is a direct descendant of Frog.
10. Meet the Chrono Trigger's Staffs - This is the by far the hardest
ending to reach. Tou arrive at it by defeating Lavos before you beat Yakra
at Manolia Convent. You'll be treated to an ending with the caricatures
of the development staffs, including Square's VP and FF producer Hironobu
Sakaguchi, Dragon Quest's illustrator and Dragon Ball manga artist, Akira
Toriyama, and Dragon Quest producer Yuji Horii.
