I'm told that if you beat the game at 100% without dying, Pandora's Box will be upgraded to the maximum.

1.The first option allows the player to select the stage, see the ending, and view a five minute cinema on the making of Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2.

2.The second option lets the player choose the dragons. There are about 10 Dragons. In addition to the five dragons from Panzer Zwei, you can also select The Pup (The baby Dragon), the original Dragon, the leader Dragon from the original Panzer Dragoon, the leader in Panzer Dragoon 2, or you could just play as either the Dragon or Lundi (the main character.)

3.The third option is the difficulty setting.

4.The fourth option allows the player to increase the power bar.

5.The fifth option is the weapon selection, including a seven-way shot.

6.The sixth option allows the player to increase the level of the berzerk.

7.The seventh option turns the Rolling Mode Off or On.

8.The eighth option lets the players play only the the boss stages within the game.

9.The ninth option gives the player the ability to target faster.

10.The tenth option turns the Pause screen Off and On. (This gives the player a special screen when hitting Pause during the game.)

11.The last option is the sound test.
Play as Final Dragon
To play as the final dragon before the last level, take the second path in level 1, the second path in level 2, and the first path in level 3.
Play as Original Dragon
To play as the dragon from Panzer Dragoon,, you must complete each stage at 90% or better and take the second route. When you reach the cave you must take the third route. (It's the only level that has a third route.)
You'll know that the trick has worked once you have encountered the last level boss. Your dragon will do it's final morph and change into the original dragon.
Self Destruction
To kill yourself, press A + B + C + L + R while playing.
X-Y Radar
While playing, press A on Controller Two.
