#1SWEAT
I was guarding the North Korean border, when my C.P.G. screamed bogie left. I glanced out my window and saw no Hinds or Hips coming. I tried to get atleast a Hellfire lock on the Target, but nothing was there. My wingman and I moved up the border some more, Then we were jumped my two hinds! The N.K. Infantry must have sent in Hinds to attack us. I sent my wingman into Air-to-Air mode, and used our pedals to swing around. I hit one Hind with a rocket. My wingman shot the same one with a stinger. That Helicopter was done! I saw smoke coming out of wingy, so he went home. The Hind was flying right behind my wingman. When my wingman was near a farp Avenger Sams did the rest! Mission successful, god job sir!

#2Anti-Scud
I'm flying an anti-Scud thing in Iraq. I was kind of bored, so I decided
to go kill every Iraqi I could find. So I'm right in the middle of a
Shilka site and all of a sudden my CPG yells "Evasive Maneuvers!" So I
slip left and pivot 180 degrees and wouldn't ya know there were two
Hinds and an SA-8 with their game faces on if you know what I mean. So
the first Hind dies without any problems, but his friend ain't happy.
So I lose my left engine and APU along with my BUCS 'cause of his 12.7
mm gun. I kill him with my last Stinger, but the SA-8 I mentioned got my
wingman. I took a missile in the tail and started spinning slowly. I
went on about my way and got 6 artillery kills and a dozen or so T-72s,
along with about 75 kills previous to the incident. So I got home and
got 8600 points and a Legion of Merit.

#3Rescue 1
It was a mission unlike any other. My wingman and I were tasked with
escorting a UH-60 Black Hawk to rescue a group of journalists in a
Humvee about to be pinned down by Iraqi ground forces. We immediately
scrambled to the area in our Longbows to secure the journalists'
position, destroy any hostile interference, and wait for the Black Hawk
to arrive. Before it came, we reached the designated area, rose to 60
feet above the ground, switched to radar, and got a good look at the
advancing Iraqi captors: a BMP-2 fighting vehicle and a BRDM personnel
carrier. We each let loose an RF Hellfire when the Black Hawk came to
the rescue. My CPG confirmed the destruction of the approaching armored
vehicles which was our cue to leave the area and return to base.

#4SEAD Mission
I was flying a SEAD mission against a SA-15 battery against the Iraqis.
I was lead ship and was approximately 5 klicks out from the target area
looking for a good bobup point. I selected a rather steep ridge as my
fire position and edged up behind the ridge and enabled Hellfires. I
performed a bobup, got a good radar scan of the target area with the FCR
and ducked down to prioritize the targets. Six SA-15s with support
vehicles. I designated the fire zone on the computer and handed the
target list off to my wingman. Show time. I remember thinking that
should be easy, just crest the ridge and salvo fire the Hellfires and
duck back down. I cleared my wingman hot on the target and pulled
collective to crest the ridge........To find myself cockpit to cockpit
with a Mi-28 Havoc at 100 feet range. I could clearly see the Havoc's
pilot and gunner through the canopy. Startled, I panicked fired two
missiles, suddenly realizing that I had Hellfires instead of Stingers
selected. However, at 50 feet straight off my nose, the Hellfires
didn't need to track - they shot straight out and into the Havoc's nose
and the Havoc dropped like a rock and exploded.
Talk about waiting until you see the whites of their eyes......

#5Ukraine Campaign Mission
I was flying a Ukraine Campaign Mission. I had orders to destroy an enemy FARP. On the way to target my Wingman took a shot from a SA-8. He was smokin' pretty good so I sent him home. As I neared target, flying around 75knts, I crested a hill and found 2 hinds waiting. I didn't stay to fight. I increased to 130knts as they pursued. About 2 miles out from the target I picked up 3 choppers moving on my postion. ( that's 5 total and me solo) I increased to full throttle and head for the incoming boggies. The 2 trailers were closing when I got visual on the 3 in front. I got a lock on one incoming and took him out with a stinger, took out a second with guns. By this time the third chopper was right on me and so was my two followers. I was taking shots from behind, but the front guy was holding his fire. As I closed, he went into a hover still not firing, at the last second I did a 20ft nose dive then full collective back for a tail stand. I swung around with pedals just in time to watch one of my pursers crash into the hovering Hind. The final guy tried to bug out, but I followed and took him out with a missle shot. This story takes time, but it probably didn't last 10 seconds after my first shot.
