As you can see, I am in the middle of building this section! Thank's for your patience during construction! If you have any questions about anything that is not listed here yet, just E-Mail me and I'll try to help in any way possible!
I am trying to list a few things here to help you in any way I can. If it weren't for others helping me out along the way I couldn't even find a web site much less build one! If there is anything not listed here that you are having trouble with just E-Mail me - if I don't know it I'll try and find someone who does and get back to you! And if you know of an easier way to do some of this stuff, please let me know that too so I can revise this page!
DOWNLOADING AVATARS
To download an Avatar, simply "Right Click" on the Av you wish to download. "Left Click" on "Save Picture As" and then find the folder where your Avatars are and "Left Click" on the "Save" button. that's all there is to it!
DOWNLOADING GESTURES
Downloading Gests are just as simple as Avs really. Here I will just talk about the download, in the next section I will talk about "Unzipping" them. To begin, just "Left Click" on the "Download" button (or word - whichever that particular site has) Make sure the "Save this file to Disk" button is checked then "Left Click" on "O.K.". You will want to place the Gest in a folder where it can be found to Unzip it. (I have a folder made just for this - I named mine "Zipped Gests", but you can name it anything - just be sure you know which it is!) Then just "Left Click" on the "Save Button" and it is done! (Also - just a hint - it is easier to download a number of Gests and the unzip them all at once instead of unzipping each as you download them!)
UNZIPPING GESTS
To use gests that are "Zipped" you have to first unzip them! To do this you will need a program such as "Winzip". If you do not have Winzip, here's the link to where it can be downloaded. WINZIP! When you get to the Winzip site, just click on "Download Evaluation Version" and it will walk you through the process. Just don't forget to come back! If you need to go get Winzip before coming back here, go ahead. I promise I'll wait on you!
Welcome back! I told you I would wait on you didn't I! Now, let's go on. Unzipping a Gest is very easy! Just find your zipped Gest and "Right Click" on it. Then "Left Click" on "Extract To". This opens Winzip. If you have the "Evaluation Version" of Winzip, you now "Left Click" on "I Agree" on the window that has popped up. Next, click on "Extract", then you can click on th "X" in the upper right hand portion of the popup screen cuz you are unzipped! The Gest can now be moved from this folder to your Gesture Folder, ready to be used.
