"Sneak Attack" Party has better chance of starting battles with a sneak attack. Location: Chocobo Racing Prize
"Quadra Magic" Casts attached magic or summon spell 4 times. Will change depending on level of materia. Location: Mideel Materia Cave
"Steal As Well" When paired materia is used, equipped character will try to steal something. Location: Wutai (Da-chao Fire Cave)
"Added Cut" When paired materia is used, equipped character will attack normally. How many times depends on level of materia. Location: Great Glacier
"Elemental" Adds paired materia element to regular attack. Example: Elemental-Poison combo allows player to poison opponent when he or she attacks normally. Location: Shinra HQ, Mt. Nibel
"HP Absorb" When paired materia is used character gains HP from enemy. Location: Crater, Wutai
"All" When paired with magic materia, the spell will effect all enemies instead of one. Location: Fort Condor, Sector 7 Slums
"Final Attack" When equipped character dies, he performs one more attack with paired materia. Location: Battle Arena Special Prize
"Added Effect" Paired materia's status effects are added to equipped characters' eqipped weapon's armor or attack defense. Location:Gi Cave
"Counter" When linked to a command materia, equipped character will counter an enemy's attack with a command. Location: Crater
"Magic Counter" Eqiupped character has a better chance of performing a counter-cast. Location: Gold Saucer (Prize)
"MP Absorb" After equipped character attacks with paired materia, he or she will absorb MP from the enemy that he or she attacked. Location: Wutai
