This is a collection of early TL 8 guns, suitable for use in, say, a GURPS Cyberpunk 2020 campaign.

All of the the guns statted in this document have pictures to go with them: I hate having a gun I don't know what looks like. This is particularly true for the 2020 milieu and tone.

Unfortunately, I am not artistically gifted. All of these gun pictures have been created by others, one way or the other. My use of them should not be construed as a challenge to the owner's copyright, and I do appreciate their work.

Design: Unless otherwise noted, all of these guns are TL 8, conventional, rifled, caseless slugthrowers, using detachable box magazines. Weapons including a laser sight have been given +2 to acc.

Stats: Weight is for the loaded weapon, but cost does not include ammo. Note that all prices have been given in "GURPS dollars", and weights in pounds. RoF may list several numbers, divided by slashes. That signifies different settings on the weapon.

RIFLES

AcuTek "Cruncher" 425$

AcuTek's latest product is a very retro attempt at a whippet-styled assault rifle loaded with the obsolete 7.62 Nato munitions, also available through AcuTek.

Horribly inaccurate and with uncontrollable recoil, but still popular due to the heavy caliber and high concealability.

Sternmeyer C89 1050$

This is Sternmeyers entry in the whippet field. The main selling point of this ugly beast is the recoil compensation, making it a bit more manageable than other weapons of thiss class.

Federated Arms Light Assault 15 920$

A rather light battle rifle. It is not quite as hard-hitting as others of the class, but it nowhere near as heavy either. Quite a bargain at the price.

Constitution Arms SB12 Assault Shotgun 400$

The gun that brought Constitution Arms onto the street. One of the first publically available assualt shotgun, this weapon has been the basis of many new designs.

Militech Crusher SSG 340$

This pistol-sized shotgun was developed during the 2nd Central american conflict for close combat and roomsweeping duties. The crusher is a handy weapon in 20ga, but not very accurate.

CAR-24 500$

Probably the smallest automatic weapon marketed in the venerable 7.62 Nato munition, the weapon shows it's CAR-15 roots. Because of the integrated GL, it is often referred to as a CAWS SMG.

Another CAR-15 derivate, also firing 7.62 Nato. The integral grenade launcher holds 6 shots. This is definately a military combat weapon.

Militech latest handgun, a good gun to carry at all times, as backup or as protection.

Vanguard 10 mm "Snub" Pistol 650$

This gun was developed to fire a new subsonic, reduced 10 mm munition. The result was a gun that aroused mild interest, until it was pointed out that the 10 mm reduced was outperformed by the 9 mm. The main interest in the gun is for the neat sci-fi styling, with glowing lights, and the ease of conversion to full auto.

Seems like you can sell any handgun these days, just make the caliber big enough. Actually, this gun is surprisingly low-powered for it's size. But the large bore size enables it to use a number of specialized ammo types.

Rhinemetall EMG-85 Kinetic Energy Railgun 54,500

A new weapon for a new era. The projectile, no larger than a common rifle bullet, is electromagnetically accelatered to fantastic velocity. The railgun can smash cyborgs, vehicles and other hard targets out to 10 km away. It is a special-purpose weapon, and is used primarily by borgs and C-SWAT troops in powered armor.
