August 9th...The guys wrapped up their European Tour with back to back shows in Stockholm Sweden August 6 and 7. They will be returning to the states later this week and will begin filming the video for their next single *Larger Than Life*.
The 1999 US tour dates were released and have proved a disappointment to many fans. All tickets for the shows go on sale August 14th so you better get them before they are all gone.
The Backstreet Boys have been nominated for video of the year with *I want it that way*. They will be competing against videos from NSync and Britney Spears, just to name a few. Be sure to vote for the BSB and tune into the MTV Music Awards on September 9, 1999.
Also, congrats to the guys for selling a bagillion copies of Millenium. Okokokok, so not quite a bagillion...yet, but it has just been certified 6x platnium and the best selling album of 1999. I cannot think of anyone that deserves these honors more than the guys. :O)

July 4th....There has been a horrible rumor floating around the internet that the European tour had been cancelled because of Brian's heart and that Brian was in a hospital back in Kentucky. This is just a horrible rumor and Brian is in perfect health. It is believed that this was started by a European tabloid.

June 4th....Brian, Nick, AJ, Kevin and Howie have released their long awaited second album, Millenium, on May 18, but I was one of the few that won a copy before it was realeased. This is one kick ass cd!!! :OŞ You can really tell that the guys have matured tremendously since they released their first album a few years ago. The music sounds a bit edgier and sophisticated...giving them a larger audience than before. The sales of the cd are overwhelming totaling about 1.75 million copies after two weeks. Much props to the guys-they deserve the success.

The guys kicked off their World Tour on June 2nd in Belgium and will remain over seas until they return to the states in August. After a very short break, they will begin touring the US in September and go through early December. I believe that the group will be spending the holidays with their families this year, but will resume touring in South America early January. Finally, after months of chaos, the boys will be taking a loooooong break!

**Something to look out for...I heard that we can expect a Christmas album by the BSB to be released sometime in November.
