I look into the mirror
But to my surprise
A wholly different person
Looking deep into my eyes.

The carefree little girl I saw
When I was four or five
Has now become a young woman
Fighting to survive.

It's really sort of scary
That time has gone so fast
For what then I called the present
Has now become the past.

I look into the mirror
And looking back at me
The face of a young woman
Where a child used to be.

If ever you need a friend
Or someone to talk to
Remember there will never be a day
That I won't be here for you.

If you need a hand to hold yours
For support through a troubled time
I want you never to forget
That you can always hold mine.

If you were feeling lonely and depressed
And wearing a frown upon your face
I'd give you my smile
To take your frowns place.

If you were to lose contact with love
And your heart was torn apart
I'd give you all my love
To mend your broken heart.

If ever you needed anything
For whatever reason it may be
I want you to remember
You can always depend on me.
