Terranigma

II personnaly love this game. Unfrotunately, this game isn't overly popular, infact not many people have even heard of it. Which is sad becuase this game is really excellent. Made by the same people who made Actraiser and Illusions of Gaia, two games I adore, you start out in the home town of Ark. You are givin a brief view of his everyday life until you open THE FORBIDDEN DOOR (I know, it scares me too =P) In there, you find a box and a weird creature. After you speak to the creature is when the wierd stuff starts to happen. Everybody in the world is frozen save you and the town elder. In order to free everyone you must venture to five towers, each controls one of the five continents. After restoring the continents, you must venture further. To where? You will have to find out for yourself, won't you?

This game has good graphics for the SNES and some very nice prerendered shots. A good music score (eventhough I usually play my mp3s instead, but thats just me). One problem is this game is very buggy, you will have to save often or if you're using an emulator, save state often becuase it experiences random crashes(or at least for some).Even with the crashes, which may seem a minor flaw but should not be discarded, this game is amazing and should not be missed.

One of the nice prerendered pics I was talking about.

An ingame pic, nothing spectacular, just a
normal pic.

This is what the world map looks like early on in the game. Just thought it looked kinda wierd.
