Well my only info on this comes from the supplements on
"The Killer" laserdisc from Criterion (and from my memory
of it).

The drink is called a "Tequila Slam". You put in 7-up and
then Tequilla slam it down. It fizzes. Don't remember which
you are supposed to put in first (I would assume the 7-up).
Have fun experiment. I think it helps to have a heavy glass
with a thick base.

This was supposidly a very popular drink with John Woo and his
friends which is how it made it into the movie.

I got a lot of letters on the variation of mixes you can use:
substitue 7up with seltzer, Schweppes, Sprite, etc.  as long as it fizzes
it's cool.
