The long await TV series from Tsui Hark, Wong Fei Hung, has be available in the United States since Februrary 13, 1996. Coincidentally, both Mandarin and Cantonese version will be available on the same tape. The good news is MOST of the original cast from Once Upon A Time in China (Can: Wong Fei Hung) is back, including Chiu Man Chuek as Master Wong, Max Mok Siu Chung as Leung Foon, Kent Cheng Juk Si as Porky Wing, and Hung Yun Yun as Ghost Foot Seven, along with new cast members Maggie Siu Mei Kei as 13 Yee, Chan Kwok Bong as Ar Chat So, Jacqueline Law Wai Guen as Ying Goo, plus Derek Yee Tung Sing, Leung Ka Yun, Lau To, Yuen Kit Ying, Ng Yi Lei, Choi Ka Lei, Lau Ka Wing, Kwan Sau Mei, Wan Yeung Ming, Mark Cheng Ho Nam, James Pax (Pak Chin Sat) among the stars. I don't know about you, but the only thing that is stopping me from renting this series is: Tai Seng Video Marketing Inc. has the rights to it and it will be $2 per tape with ONLY 2 episodes on EACH tape. Somebody shoot me.

A Northern general (Tsui Kam Kong) sends a general and an entourage to Guongzhou with a hidden agenda. On the way, the general is assassinated. Upon arriving Guongzhou, the assistant general Lau (Wan Yeung Ming) told the governor (Leung Ka Yan) that the general is injured and would be resting at Plum Garden, an estate rumored to be abandoned. With Wong Fei Hung in Fushan, the governor asked Leung Foon (Max Mok Siu Chung) to keep an eye on the governor. Later, the students of Wong Fei Hung stumbled upon the general's headless body, leading to a series that would recover the past of the Plum Garden as well as the Northern general's secret agenda.
