Nakoruru Germanizing Project
Level Mystery (Report 2)
I Found the Cause of Decreasing Experience Value
Nakoruru is safe. She was out of Danger. Thank you very much!
In the Chapter Two of Samurai Shodown RPG, your main character and two fellows must fight against Ms Miduki Rashoujin in San Francisco. Perhaps the main character in Sega Saturn system becomes a level-52 fighter.
I played the video game in 10/21/97. I deal with Nakoruru as my main character, Rimururu, and "Gale" Leon. The party defeated the boss character of monsters on the Golden Bridge in San Francisco.
Oops! Nakoruru got a level-53 fighter but lost her experience value by 500,000 points.
Nakoruru, Rimururu and Leon became level-99 fighters. Was the decrease of her experience value a software own bug or a built-in event? It was a built-in event. I have simulated the Samurai Shodown RPG some times. At last I found the cause of decreasing Nakoruru's exprience value in 10/29/97-10/31/97. Nakoruru used an item called "Chikara No Moto (Power Element)" in her elevation of sword art level. Then Nakoruru's experience value decreased. In my experiment, Nakoruru as 81-level fighter lost her experience value by 4,200,000 point at the usage of Power Element. Moreover there are other items like this. For example, "Tairyoku No Moto (Physical Stamina Element)," "Kiryoku No Moto (Vitality Element)," and "Subayasa No Moto (Agility Element)." These elements make the experience value decrease to be 999,999 points. If a weak character uses the item, the character will not feel the decrease of experience value. However a level-51 fighter has more than 1,400,000 points as its experience value. Thus Nakoruru lost a third of her experience value.
By the way, they overcame Ms Miduki Rashoujin at the Osore-zan Shrine. They defeated her by two blows. But another monster appeared in front of them. It was "Ambrosia." Of course they defeated Ambrosia. Ambrosia had four small monsters. Therefore Nakoruru parties had to fight against five monsters at the final battle. Ambrosia is regarded as the top of monsters in the Samurai Shodown world. But "ambrosia" means "immortal." It does not mean evil.
