TV-Osaka is a subsidiary company of Nikkei Newspaper. It is under "TXN" TV-news network system by TV-Tokyo. TV-Osaka has also broadcast Neon Genesis Evangelion, Pocket Monsters, Slayers TRY, DAIUNDOUKAI, UTENA, New No Need For Tenchi and Kodomo No Omocha. It is located at Ootemae in Osaka near the Osaka Castle.
In the end of 1997, TV-Osaka broadcast TV-animation type Neon Genesis Evangelion (26 episodes for four days). It was a third time. Moreover its sponsors included Bandai and the ending stationary pattern was the same as the first broadcasting in 1995. It was apparent that the broadcast was for enthusiastic fans of Eva. The story 90A of Kodomo No Omocha (a junior high school love comedy drawn by Ms Miho Obana) titled "Mechanical Mother Hayama is a true mother of Akito (Japanese: Mecha-Hayama-Haha ha Haha-Hayama)" was the program. In the 90A story, Father Hayama is a DIY mad scientist. He made a robot named Mecha-Koharu as a mechanical mother of Mr. Akito Hayama because Akito lost her mother. Father Hayama installed Mecha-Koharu with a most excellent LSI for fighting and a LSI for Gigantism. However Father Hayama did not install Mecha-Koharu with a LSI for motherhood which was sold by Shibuya ASATU-Hands (Parody of Tokyu-Hands and ASATSU. Tokyu-Hands is under Tokyo Kyuko Dentetsu Group, a department store for DIY, and has stores near Kobe Sannomiya Ikuta Jinja Shrine, Suita Esaka SNK, Nagoya Hisaya Oodouri TV Tower and Futako-Tamagawaen Namco Wondereggs 2. ASATSU is a large-scale advertisement agent in Japan. Copyright of Samurai Shodown RPG "Bushidohretsuden" belongs to ASATSU. ASATSU is also related with hundreds of TV-animation.). Therefore Mecha-Koharu was not tender and became giant. Moreover she destroyed ASATU-Hands. She went to Tokyo Tower in order to destroy it. (Many Monsters in Japan have destroyed Tokyo Tower.) Then Giant Magical Angel Sana Kurata (CV = Ms Shizue Oda) fought against Mecha-Koharu.
Blue-colored Mecha-Koharu looked like Test-type EVA-01 and Giant MAGICAL ANGEL Sana looked like MAGICAL Princess Chacha (CV = Ms Masami Suzuki, Mr. Akitarou Daichi joined the crew.) and Nurse ANGEL Ririka (CV = Ms Kaori Asou, Director = Mr. Akitarou Daichi).
Red Riding Hood Chacha and Nurse Angel Ririka SOS were broadcast by TV-Tokyo formerly. The staff for special effect in Chacha, Ririka and Kodomo No Omocha included .

Mechanic design of Mecha-Koharu was much detailed and Mecha-Koharu's explosion scene was realistic and looked like one in Eva.
