"Rurou No Saihate, Hi To Ruri No Kizuna Wa Shiosai No Uchi Ni"
The title means the utmost point of wandering, the knot between Scarlet and Sapphire is in the the sea sound.
The OVA-type Rurouni Kenshin was released on 12/02/98 in Japan.
It was sold out that day at Akihabara K-books and Akihabara Animate. I could obtain the video at Akihabara Yamagiwa Soft on 12/02/98.
In 1878, in the end of summer, it sometimes rains in Tokyo.
That day Yahiko went to Akabeko Sukiyaki restaurant to help it. On the other hand, Kaoru and Kenshin rode on a steamboat. Sanosuke Sagara went to Dr. Gensai's clinic. Dr. Megumi Takani interviewed and treated him.
Sanosuke asked her to treat me to lunch.
Real performance films are used. They explains the huge statue of Buddha in Kamakura and a lot of tombs. Kenshin and Kaoru came to Kamakura to visit a grave.
In Akabeko restaurant, Yahiko and Tsubame ate lunch together.
Megumi ordered Sanosuke to chop wood.
Kaoru and Kenshin went to the seaside. It rains suddenly. Sanosuke had a bath at Dr. Gensai's clinic. Then Megumi said, "Sanosuke's clothes smell bad. I want to INCINERATE it!" But she laundered them.
Ayame and Suzume, children living at Dr. Gensai's clinic, saw a picture book explaining earthquake using a catfish. The two jested at Sanosuke.
After dark, Kaoru and Kenshin asked a family near the seaside to house the two for the night. The family put them up.
In a room, Kaoru and Kenshin went to bed. Kaoru was keyed up.
In the midnight, she dreamed about Kenshin. Kenshin left her.
Immediately Kaoru got up. Then Kenshin was out.
Kenshin looked at the sea.
Kaoru ran toward the seaside. She found Kenshin. She threw herself into his arms.
They remember their past days.

Kenshin left Tokyo for Kyoto. Seijurou Hiko trained Kenshin. Kaoru said to Kenshin, "Let's go back to Tokyo together." |
The anime team wanted to complete the TV-series in a peaceful context. But Kenshin fans wanted "Six Revenge's Memory" part. That part was made as OVA-series. (That part has not been released in Japan yet.) Kenshin still refuses Kaoru. Why? We have to see Watsuki's conclusion.
